The guys behind the remakes of SNES era games like Pocky & Rocky, Wild Guns, Ninja Warriors seem to return to remake a late NES game from 1991, one overshadowed by the SNES release.

What flaws are that? Legit asking, I think the games look very interesting, I still haven't jumped in on any of them lol.
They made some modern-ish changes, like the update to wide-screen for Wild Guns that could be seen as bad depending on your point of view. Also I found the replayability of Pocky and Rocky and Shadow of the Ninja a little bit limited. There are not any major flaws however. Check out these games, they all look visually excellent and play in a very old-school way.

This topic is how today I learned:
  • NatsumeAtari is a thing
  • and it's a separate company from Natsume Inc. (USA)
  • and that Atari (Japan) is a pachinko company that has nothing to do with Atari (USA) at all.

Shadow of the Ninja's movement feels a little bit sluggish and selecting items can be shore. It looks arcade'ey, but it's more Prince of Persia than Mega Man. Steam User Score is 72% and the others are 89%+, so there are some problems.
The other games on average are much better. Wild Gun's difficulty is high and it feels like it's balanced around 2 players.
