It's no secret the gas company has been fucking customers for the past two years, but now it's set to get even worse. Some analysts are predicting a 77% increase in the price of gas to heat your home, cook, and for other general use. >:|

This is gonna suck. The past two winters I've only used natural gas for hot water (Freeze my god damned balls off in the winter), and the bills have hurt; I'm considering using some gas to heat the house so the pipes don't freeze in winter, but it just might be more cost effective to replace the pipes. :lol
So when do we start rioting?
Natural gas for October delivery jumped by $1.52 to $12.66 per 1,000 cubic feet. Natural gas for January delivery soared to $14.01. Adding in transportation, taxes and delivery, the cost easily could top $18. Average bills for consumers who don't have fixed-price contracts could soar well above $300 a month for gas bills this winter.

Dominion Says October Gas Bills Higher by 50%
Residential gas bills in October will be nearly 50 percent higher than a year ago, Dominion East Ohio Gas Co. said Tuesday. Mayor Jane Campbell immediately announced that talks aimed at persuading the utility to contribute to weatherization and heating assistance programs had broken down. The mayor also said she is seeking money from the state and federal governments to help low-income families make it through the winter.
