I'm working on an essay for school and i'm searching for DS sales figures.
Anybody here got a link or something where i can find info regarding:

- Worldwide Sales figures Hardware\Software
(According to press.nintendo.com the hardware is close to 13mln worldwide as of jan 2006)
- Worldwide Sales figures of the best selling games (AC\Brain Training\Nintendogs etc)
- Figures of games that didn't make the top 10 list.

I already searched in the Sales archive, but the info there is mostly based on individual european countries or Japan only. I'm also trying to find out how low-profile titles sell on the DS worldwide.(Titles like Nanostray, Polarium, Phoenix Wright, Castlevania, Lost in Blue etc.)
With your help i'll put all the info in a chart so everyone here can enjoy the combined effort.

this tread displays both PSP and DS numbers up until january 2006. I need these kind of numbers, but for US & Europe also

recent NoE press releases state 14.4million hardware sales worldwide, as of Jan 31st 2006.

So does anybody know if this announcement only referenced to the shipment until the end of 2005 (14.43m) or if the 14.4m were actual sell throughs?

The japanese really buy a lot of hard\software.

Tiemen I don't know if you've ever seen my message, but I create a TEVS Document that I send out to over 80 people online via email. It's an excel document that tracks the sales data of ALL consoles software and hardware, and I haven't had any complaints in the quality of the work (even GAF members use it).

If you give me your email, I can email it to you ASAP and add you to the monthly subscription list. If 80 people love it how can you go wrong? This goest for anyone in this thread as well.

There are 6 million DS's in Japan
There are 3.81 million DS's in US
There are 3.6 million DS'S in Europe

Then there's Canada, Australia etc.

DS IS indeed at 14million + worldwide
