I got myself an Asus UL30Vt some time ago, and it works like a charm. Can last 10 or so hours (that's what win7 indicates, but it's a bit less i think) with very light working on it, but it can also run SC2 (1v1 at medium) since it has switchable graphics. Cost me 500 euro at the time.

I bought an Alienware m11x R2 for about $900 with an education discount last summer. It could run WoW very well on high or very high (20-30 FPS on a busy Dalaran), with the exception of the new water effects (which were not compatible with the graphics card before I quit the game).

once you get used to BetterTouchTool, you can't go back.

Never been a fan of BTT. Too many things to remember. Just got in the way, don't wanna mess with it esp with new lion multitouch features coming.

You can't go wrong with one of the latest 13 inch macbook pros. Trust me, it takes like two days tops to get used to the interface and operating system. It's really not that different from windows.

that or the new macbook airs.
