I'm getting the PC version for the cleanest visuals. The difference between the PS2/Xbox versions of NFSU1 and the PC version are like night and day.

Yeah, i played the NFSU2 demo on the Burnout 3 (PS2) disc, and i thought it was inferior to last year's Midnight Club 2. I have no interest in this game.

Did they ever explain what the deal was with the glossy streets? Maybe glossy streets are common in underground races... i don't know. What i do know is it looks horrendously fake.
