Alright! It's almost a year so I'm almost off the hook with my current contract and finally able to upgrade to a much nicer phone! (Currently using a Sony Ericsson t300 D: ) So slow etc. etc.

Sooo. I'm currently looking to upgrade either to the Sony t610, Sony Z600, Sidekick II or Motorvola v600. Right now anything is obviously better than the t300. The t610 has a nice camera, screen and good resolution. Not sure about reception and iface tho. The z600 is a clamshell and those are just a must for me! While sidekick II is weird and big, but having full internet and etc at your hands is pretty nice. Finally the v600 is just possibly a common upgrade, but realistically I'd go for Sony if I can.


Okay! So what do you guys think I should do? Also, if you guys have any sites that have killer deals on these phones or phones you suggest, please post them.

i got a v600 its pretty cool, the screen gets dirty but, the thing i like is the usb conector, free mp3 ringtones etc.

Well. I'm currently with Tmobile on a family plan and around dec10th I should be free to do what I want with the contract. Anywho. so the Z600 is pretty hot? know where I can pick it up for a reasonable price?

Same here my contracts ends on the 18th. Every year i've been upgrading new phones switching back and forth between cingular and t-mobile. I'm going with the sony ericsson s710 this time. Always been into sliding phones besides flip phones are too played out. I was close to getting the panasonic x300? Its dope as fuck but it doesn't play any mp3s or have bluetooth. There gui is pretty nice but panasonic seems to always be a step behind technology wise.

Any good phones for verizon (rimshot), I kind of want a luxury phone mostly I want bluetooth for a headset.

There was that motorola phone but it got pulled for a bit because of manufacturing problems with the camera (I could do without camera). its too bad verizon neuters its bluetooth.

NIIIIIICE! I'm against cell phones in general though. They're a great idea and stuff, but I've never had one, and continue to proceed in life perfectly fine without one, y'know? Just like, over a year I can save a lot of money.

But that phone up there looks so nice...I'm really tempted now. Thing I hate about a lot of phones is that they already have a camera, I don't care for one. I already have a nice camera anyway (Casio Exilim, not the greatest pic quality, but a real conversation starter :lol).

If you want a good phone get the Sony Ericsson K700, it kicks a little too much ass and it's only flaw is that it doesn't have expadable memory, but 41Megs is enough if you dont plan on using it as an mp3 or movie player, and you can also use Animated Gifs as your wallpaper.

Did Nokia kill one of your relatives? The Nokia 6230 is a great phone. I don't know how you find it one of the worst phones ever.

I need to upgrade. I have a T616 right now but I'm thinking of switching to a flip phone of some kind. Hopefully I can get a little bit of a return on the T616 on eBay. Don't know if I want to switch plans to upgrade though.

One, it's ugly.

Two, you think it only has one flaw because it doesn't have expandable memory? If the thing has MP3 playback, video recording etc. etc., why the hell does it only have 41MB of memory? That's like 10 MP3s..

I'll stick with my Nokia and its 1GB MMC cards.

I get really good service. No dropped calls and no outages. What if I switch to a shitty carrier? I'd have to stay with them for a year just so I could have a new phone.
