Need some mouse recommendations

TintoConCasera

I bought a sex doll, but I keep it inflated 100% of the time and use it like a regular wife
Basically what the title says. My Razer Deathadder (lol) Essential (lmao) has a faulty left click button that's driving me insane both when working and playing.

Any recommendations for a mouse that has at least 5 buttons and isn't made to break in a few years time? Don't care about customizing it's weight nor anything fancy like that, and I would really prefer for it to be wired instead of wireless.

Thanks in advace. 🫂

I like the Glorious Gaming Model I 2. It's light enough, wired or wireless, and doesn't require software to be permanently loaded into your machine to function. The buttons can be assigned in the software and then uninstalled since the mouse stores the config in memory. Additionally, you can disable the RGB and hot swap two of the thumb buttons.

The downside is the battery life sucks but this isn't an issue for your use case.

I can recommend the Logitech G502 Hero. It does have removable weights but you never need to bother with them.

Premium feel, metal scroll wheel, comfy shape, and wired, as god intended. Mine has been going strong for years. Cheap too - currently £40 on Amazon UK.

Buy a Switch 2 and use the Joy Con.

lol sorry

I've been using the logitech superlight and it's phenomenal. 4 buttons only though, 5 if you count the middle mouse button

You can use it wired and wireless too

I love this mouse. Too bad after just two years of completely normal use, the LMB gave me double clicks and holds and this has been a problem for years with Logitech's switches and I'm about done with them altogether.

I've been using the predecessor to the Logitech M500s for a couple of years. Nothing fancy, 2 thumb buttons, scroller/tilt w/button, DPI switch, corded, cheap and comfy as hell in my hand.

The only downside I've experienced is that the scroller isn't made for super fine precision.

Mickey Mouse Love GIF

These two are my personal favorites

I'm an old guy so I love the classics like the DeathAdder. I have the Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro and it's glorious. No matter what you choose, be sure to go wireless.

I have that one and the scroll wheel. About three months in and the scroll wheel is acting funky. Not a smooth scrolling experience anymore. Not a huge deal, but it is kind of annoying.

I'm using a Razer Viper. It's super light and very comfortable for my style of grip.

If I can offer one piece of advice - do research on what your preferred mouse grip is, and search for mice that accommodate to your grip.

I use Endgame OP1 8K smaller model with swappable microswitches.

There is also a bit larger Endgame Gear XM2 8K although it doesn't have swappable switches I think.

+ non-rgb Razer bungee.

Something like this but with a few more buttons would be perfect. Love the simplistic design, specially since I'm not into leds and shit (my PC is just a black case). A lot of modern mice look like a discoteque.

Palm until the day I die. Good thinking man, I'll take that into account.

Why? I've always prefered wired. Would guess the response time is slightly better.
In 2025 there is no difference, but wireless is just a game changer on how you can manipulate your mouse without the annoying cable. It's really liberating.

My best friend was against anything wireless since he is a pro CS2 player but got sponsored with a Logitech Superlight 2 DEX and now he just can't play with anything wired haha.

Edit: btw he is very happy with his mouse, if you like Logitech it might be a good option.

Sucks that your Razer is faulty. I've had the same Death Adder mouse for years and it's still going strong. I much prefer it over the Logitech G502. The G502 is super popular mouse and I think most people love it but, for whatever reason, the G502 gives my hand, cramps.

I am afraid everything these days is designed to break after a couple of years it seems.

Who the fuck holds a mouse like that? :messenger_grinning_smiling:

Have a Razr Viper Mini, like it a lot. Still no issues (have it for 3 years now, daily use). Before that, I had a couple of Logitech mice and all of them started to develop double-clicking issues after 1-2 years of usage.

Check out also Dark Project, Pulsar, Lamzu - those I saw rated pretty high alongside Endgame.

For you if you want to go with palm grip maybe XM2 8K would be suited best if you don't mind the wire - OP1 8K is really small best suited for claw grip although I can manage palm grip on it with my smallish hands but dunno about you.

I had both XM2 and OP1 and wires are extremely soft, you won't feel them on bungee - real hi-end stuff. Shell and plastics are top tier if you won't go with transparent colors and if you do it's not terrible you may just encounter some pop here and there, if you go with nontransparent colors, it will be extra hard no pop whatsoever.

I just got the Pulsar X2 CL and it's by far the best mouse I've used thus far.

Smaller than my razer V2 pro but the shape is perfect for fingertip grip if that's what you have.

Just get the latest version of Deathadder and call it a day. IMO, still best sized mouse and very responsive.

Edit: I go with a palm grip. Wish it was like 30% larger but it is still best I saw. Stopped by Microcenter and BestBuy before and tried a few nice on Amazon and I just go back to Deathadder.

I use the V3 Pro for wireless but you can just get the regular with same sensor.

Just found out that 8bitdo makes those:

Cute for sure, but not sure about the ergonomics. :goog_relieved:
If you want something cheap, checkout Mchose and Fantech. I've heard some positive stuff about those. But threat it more like a budget mices.

Endgame, Pulsar, Dark Project, Lamzu are generally a safe bet if you want something higher quality.

Tough luck lads. You are among the unlucky and my friend is with you lot too

Luckily I have mine since day one and so far no issues.

If you're willing to shop at AliExpress there are a lot of high quality mice that that are essentially near 1:1 clones of mice like Logitech Superlight 2 and Razer Viper V3 Pro at a fraction of the price. They are better built and come with decent softwares unlike GHUB or Synapse for Logi and Razer.

Would recommend mice like ATK A9 Pro or Ultra, MCHOSE A7 Pro/Ultra (Superlight 2 shape) or ATK X1 Pro or Ultimate (Viper V3 Pro Clone).

Going further down the rabbit hole you can always check the /R mousereview subreddit for advice as there is a lot of talk of mice and recommendations there.

G502X is my current daily with powerplay mat, claw grip.

Had this with a G604.

Fixed by squirting some WD contact cleaner down the sides of the scroll wheel with its straw thing (battery removed) left for an hour, good as new :)

I recently started to use the Logitech Lightspeed wireless / wired mouse and I am very happy with it. I did have a wired Hero 502, but I got the double click issue on the left mouse button, so paid a high price for this wireless version.

Battery lasts a very long time. For me after about 3 days of 8-10 hours of use, it only drops to the low 90s. Charging is super fast and again, you can use it while charging as a wired mouse. The only thing I don't like is putting the charge cable in as the connection is a bit fiddly to get to, but other than that, I am very pleased.

Did also have the MMO mouse Corsair Simitar Elite, but didn't feel great in my hand size, so swapped it out.

that's great..

in europe retail tho.. do not get razer logi just tells people have a new one bye
Gotta say I live in europe and my experience with Razer has been that of a gaming brand that sells cool looking stuff that's also kind of low quality.

I know everyone recommends logitech or razer or any other big brands but I've been burned with quite a few different big brands over the years. Double clicks, frequent non-registering clicks, scroll wheel problems in just a year or two of usage. So I bought some basic 5 button chinese gaming mouse back in 2019 for like $15. I expected it to break 5 years ago. I still use it every single day with 0 issues. Last year I actually tried to buy a replacement for the inevitable failure of it but was sad when they don't have it for sale anymore lol
