this is just another game that makes Technos one of my 5 favorite developers.

this is my favorite sports game ever. i love everything about it. art direction (awesome Technos chracter design, with awesome style) gameplay, and music.

i have that game on one of those bootleg 128-in-1 nes carts. i remember enjoying it quite a bit. actually most of the technos sports games are really good - this, super spike v-ball, and of course the mighty super dodge ball. was never that into crash n' the boys' street challenge, though.

it's sort of a track and field style button masher. not sure what it was called in japan. "nekketsu something," no doubt.

yeah, just looked into it. looks pretty neat actually. just a bunch of death sports. gonna have to check it out for sure.

Almost certainly. The NES Nintendo World Cup was a localized version of the Nekketsu Soccer, so the GB version probably is too.
