So as most of you realized, NeoGAF had some major downtime. And for that I would like to apologize.
Yesterday there was a hacking attempt that brought the site down, we did manage to bring things under control and get the site back up and functional again. I have also found the IP address and the IP port of the
user(s) that brought the site down. Upon further investigation I found that one of the main hackers is actually a member of this site. And I am in the process of banning him. I'm going to name and shame.

main culprit behind the hacking attempt and I am as I said, in the process of banning this user.
I didn't want to make this public and disclose information about

trying to hack the site and bring it down. But
