Well I scored a shitload of nes carts over ebay this week, here's the oot:

Shit Titles:
For some reasons, I am obsessed with collecting terrible nes games

- Destination EarthStar (Includes Booklet)
- Roger Clemens : Major League Baseball
- Roundball : 2-on-2 Challenge
- Pala Medes (Card Game)
- Tiger-Heli
- Ninja Crusaders
- The Adventures of Gilligans Island
- F-15 Strike Eagle
- Major League Baseball (Includes Booklet)
- ORB 3-D
- F-117A : Stealth Fighter
- Werewolf : The Last Warrior (Includes Booklet)
- Touchdown Fever (Includes Booklet)
- Home Alone 2 (Includes Booklet)
- Basewars
- Skyshark
- P'Radikus Conflict
- Talespin
- Basewars
- Robocop 2
- Star Soldier
- Crash 'n the Boys: Street Challenge
- Advanced Dungeons & Dragon : Dragon Strike
- Tecmo NBA Basketball
- NES Play Action Football (Includes Booklet)
- Flying Dragon: The Secret Scroll
- Wrath of the black Mantha (trash classic ultra butchered japanese game)
- Ninja Kids (ok this one isnt so bad..)
- Total Recall BOXED (!!!! time to fight midgets in alleys )
- Dungeon and Dragon: Deadly Towers! BOXED (!!!)
- Quatro Adventure 4 Games in 1

Average-to-good titles:

- Fester's Quest
- Captain Skyhawk
- Blades of Steel
- Rad Racer (I will be finally able to recreate the classic Wizard scene)
- Cobra Triangles (I always liked that game)
- Star Tropics
- Super Mario Brothers 3
- Track & Field 2

Others
Total Carnage SNES (well it was cheap o_o)

Total Cost with various shipping (from various places in usa and canada): 62 for about ~40 carts, a few boxed and some pretty obscure titles (Quatro Adventure and Pasa Medes)

I must say this is a pretty good haul considering the fact that locally, people charge 5$ a title, and thats actually IF you find nes games locally..

COMMENTS?!

demi: That's not bad. Any come with box/manual?

I'm still building up my NES collection, while fennec fox got rid of his just last year (and I cashed in on that deal, lemme tell ya!). It's a funny old world.

The big games are incredible easy to find, so for me, its all about hunting down crap titles that are virtually unplayable. I played the big titles to death back in the days, and I just have no interest in paying extra money for them, unless its a special personal cult title.

My next targets for acquisitions are Archon, Clash at Demonhead, Deja Vu, those damn Carmen San Diego games, the first gen titles (galaxian, urban fighter, Golf, Soccer)

I actually sold almost my nes titles back in the days to get STAR FOX when it came out. I couldnt find a few titles, so they were spared the humiliation of being traded-in. I had about 30 games too :(

HOW DARE YOU?!

Someone set this man up an NES intervention.

I remember back in the day when my NES collection was upward of 700 carts... so many I didn't even know everything I had. It wasn't easy eBaying / giving away most of those, but thank goodness I did... no one but no one should be found owning an entire Wisdom Tree / Color Dreams library complete with color variations. Then again, I rather enjoyed tossing baby Moses into the nile.

The only thing more addictive than NES collecting is heroin.

Games i need to pick up (most of which i once owned) now that i have a working Neo FC Super Console

Guardian Legend (god, i'd love the FC version of this)
Stinger
Life Force
1943
Zanac (FC)

i've got the "Yobo" version, which has the convert that sits almost-flush, so it's pretty nice.

It's a solid piece of hardware. It's pretty tiny, like a little bigger than a discman and twice as thick. It plays everything i've tried on it (mario, abadox, tetris) just fine. The composite out seems to be about as clean as the NES is capable of outputting as well. The non-standard controller ports are kind of a letdown, but otherwise it's pretty solid. I found mine for $30 at one of those As Seen on TV stores at the mall.

give those games a try, they're not shit titles

Base Wars is a shit title?

Man...I used to have a blast beating the shit out of my brother with the "battle gimmick" when he tried getting me out at first.

I think your list needs a bit or re-evaluation. You appear to have gotten a lot better titles than you might think.

Crash 'n the Boys: Street Challenge totally rocks. Get the four player adapter and go to fucking town.

What's P'Radikus Conflict?

Oh yeah, get Mighty Bomb Jack (that game is badass) and definitely get Wrecking Crew... I *LOVE* that game for some reason! And get some of the Lolo games. Those are some random NES suggestions for you :D

Roger Clemens : Major League Baseball iz one of my favorite games (although i've played only like 3 baseball games in my entire life).

You know the game was rereleased on the SNES.

Bart vs. the Space Mutants wasn't THAT bad. Was it? I remember actually beating the game, no cheating or anything. I even completed Bart vs. the World.

Palamedes is not shit at all!!!! Try it in two player mode. It's kinda like Bust a Move, but the object is to create good poker hands with the dice that you shoot (i.e. a full house, four of a kind, etc). Very recommended!!!

(That's the arcade version)

Another unhearlded NES puzzle game I recommend is Krazy Kreatures. It's a game where you match Kreatures before the screen fills up with them. Different types of creatures need different numbers touching to trigger a match. Sounds retarded, but it's a great game. I'd love to see a DS version!

Boy is it ugly! :lol

My NES collecting is getting rather scary, but I have managed to get all the titles I've actually wanted.

If there are any classic game collectors with a Palm device, I've thrown together a rather handy NES (and other) game database -- it's great for keeping track of what you own, the condition, etc. Before I carried it around with me, I relied on my memory... which resulted in multiple copies of "slightly obscure sounding" titles. Extra Dungeon Magic games.... 5 copies of Final Fantasy (yeah, I know, EB sells it for $35, but that doesn't help me).

If you want a really bad NES game, get Who Framed Roger Rabbit or Bart vs the Sapce Mutants. Those two are total shit.

No way! I loved this game when it was first released, and still play it occasionally. True, the game is insidiously easy once you know how to search for the missing pieces of the Will, but it's always fun to just drive around in that yellow cab to see if you can outrun the Toon Patrol.

Believe it or not, this was one of the earliest games developed by RARE.
