Earlier today I set up a network between my old PC and my current one with a cross-over cable and transferred some files. When I set this up, I temporaily set up my ip to be dynamic because my old PC has the same settings and it was causing a conflict. When I finished with the file trasnferring I took out the cross-over cable and put my normal ethernet line back in and restored my static ip settings, but my net connection seems off. Browsing seems pretty slow in general and my torrents (I use bittornado) are staying at yellow instead of green. This is the first time I've played around with this kind of networking, so i haven't been able to figure out what exactly is screwed up. Any ideas?

I wonder if you turned on XP's "firewall" at some point during this... just a quick guess
