no silly you're reading it wrong. 3d video is the app to watch 3d videos.
the other update allowed people to record in 3d

it's rare for retail games, but eShop games get updates fairly routinely.

It black screened while updating, said "an error has occurred," told me to restart the system, and now that I did trying to pull up the settings screen or the eshop gives me "an error has occurred. please save your data in any software currently in use, then restart the system." restarting, removing the SD card, etc. seems to result in the same thing.

So far, all I've noticed is that the font in the eShop logo is different.
