Say what you will about this guy's music and his intense personality, but he's a guy who just REALLY loves life. If you've read any interviews with him or seen any with him, he's always in a "it's great to be alive!" type of mood. Just goes head first into almost everything he does. He's just a really passionate dude. I respect that.

I love his music, especially his first album. He's just so full of energy and happiness, his music always makes me happy no matter what mood I'm in. There's just so much going on, so many different instruments blaring in perfect harmony, it's great. "I get Wet" is pretty much my favorite track ever. This track though is a bit lighter, but still enjoyable. Thanks for the link

I LIKED HIM BETTER WHEN HE WAS IN WOLF EYES.
I Get Wet is destined for classic status, so many good rockin' tracks. I got the follow-up "The Wolf" or whatever, and it kinda let me down. There were only a few good jams like "Tear it Up."
But I still dig the guy, gotta love straight-out beer drinking rock with no pretensions, at least somebody's still doing it. Hopefully the third album will be more like I Get Wet quality.
This song IS OK, a little soft for him. And his voice sounds different? I guess because he's not screaming at the top of his lungs for a change.

For serious. The AWK show I saw was fucking insane. There were supposed to be like 5 bands playing our campus (Florida State) at the end of last spring's semester. It rained and all the bands pussied out except for AWK. They moved the show to inside the union's club and rocked SO FUCKING HARD. There were people jumping off the second floor balcony into the mosh pit and a good 30 people were on stage during the last song. The stage was really small. People were spilling off of it. It's probably the sickest show I've ever been to in my life.

I'm a pretty reserved guy in most circumstances, but my body made me jump on stage when "Party Hard" began. I along with at least 20-30 others were on stage just dancing like idiots for four or five minutes. It was the greatest.
