"Which he mistook for a giant juice box. It was the first taste of alcohol he had since he was nursing"

Also, please tell me that viewer discretion was not advised for a fucking blurred out bra.

:lol good episode. I love the reference to the second episode (250,000 dollars lining the walls of the banana stand)

Favorite part was when
Lucille was just starting the drinking contest with Kitty and she knocks one back.
"That one doesn't count."

Go mama!

Loves the Greater Toronto Area
highlights of this epiosde.

Zach Braff being a never nude.

Lucille just shined in theis episode "Drinking got me here, drinking got you here." lol.. "That one doesn't count." "Ok, I gotta get back to rehab."

"I'm gonna have a hard time getting mom. 'I know I just admitted her yesterday, but can I sign her out so she can meet someone at a bar?"

One of my favorite lines from the epsiode is "Now if only we had a decoy for dad." "Heh.. what a shame, I had the perfect dad decoy for my last bait and switch." lol..

not as good as last weeks but still funnier than probably anything else we'll see on TV this week.

I also kept forgetting that Tobias knew Geroge was in the attic and basically just gave away his hiding spot on national tv.. lol..

Things I liked: Gob trying to get the key out.
The narrator's blasting of the Scandal Makers narration "real shoddy narrating. Just pure crap."
Lucille's Chicken Dance.
George Michael rediscovering his feelings for Maeby.

It wasn't as good as last week's but still pretty good. It kinda makes me sad though, because it seems that they're ALMOST wrapping things up in case they don't get picked up again... this could have been the second to last episode ever.

Not Banned from OT
I thought his episode was pretty damn great. Only on arrested Development could a character, Lucille break out of rehab and go right to a bar for a drinking contest. Buster mistaken a box of whine for a big ass juice box was another classic. Tobias and Braff quick convo on the never nude convention was pretty funny. The sperm being at the banana stand was also classic. I also like the whole narator ripping on another narator. GOB was classic like throwing up a crown instead of a key or him dumping the evidence to clear his father in the pool. Also him putting the pen into the pigeon in his pocket then asking about a good animal doctor and braff asking if the camera man got it was classic.

Great show I would still would bet it will be back for atleast 1 more year. Fox is short on non-reality shows as it is. With the turn against reality tv fox needs all the sitcoms it can get. It sucks the network Il hate has some of the best shows on its 2 networks 24, arrested , house, family guy,the shield and rescue me.

As it turns out, she had gotten up early and had taken pain medication because of a hangover-related headache. However, she mistook the drowsy eye alcohol warning for a winking eye alcohol suggestion.

Very good episode, I'd rank it a wee bit down simply because I didn't find it as hilarious as the near-perfect 3 episodes before it.

G.O.B.: Well, gee, I didn’t think the woman I’d be checking out at spring break would be Mom.

Buster: She’s better looking than the whores you date.

G.O.B.: Don’t call my escorts “whores.”

Buster: Mom’s still got it!

G.O.B.: I don’t date whores!

Lindsay: Stop it, stop it. This objectification of women has to stop.

Michael: It’s just Mom and whores.

:lol

EDIT: oh yeah, one thing my wife pointed out a few eps ago is how much Michael has changed. First season he was at least *trying* to do the right thing and even tried to get the rest of the family to shape up. Last few episodes he's been incredibly cynical and now he just uses the family's weaknesses against them to get what he he wants (which is still usually the "right" thing, not in a selfish way) as quickly and easily as possible. The way he saw his family gathering as a easy way to horrify the Veals into preventing the pre-engagement was hilarious. :D

The whole cooler swap discussion between Michael and Gob... :lol

Gob: *sticks pen in jacket* Oh, you don't know of a good bird hospital, do you? :lol :lol :lol

A remnant of a subplot from the cut episodes, maybe?
There were no cut episodes. The order was cut, but there were no episodes filmed and left out. Could be a reference to a cut scene or something though. I really couldn't figure that bit out.

The only thing that disappointed me about the episode was that I figured out the cooler twist right away. Right when Gob had the cooler but they never looked in it. It was pretty obvious to me.

The Autumn Wind
For some reason, I had assumed the cooler was empty.

My favorite lines from this ep were:

"That is a crown, you horse's ass."

and

"There was 250cc's of your father in that banana stand!" "No touching!"

Good stuff, haha.

What was that song playing at the end, btw?

as big a fan of the show that i am, i felt it was a poor episode.
'surfboard!' was the highlight.

hopefully next week we will be back on track.

Weren't some scenes for the last couple of episodes reshot in light of the cut? I figured there might have been a fireplace subplot for Tobias in this episode or the last that was cut in order to fit the newer stuff in.
