:lol :lol :lol :lol

I love how he wears a business suit with the rotted out sack on his head. WTF?

Am I the only one that thinks this film is looking really "iffy"? The superbowl trailer was alright, but that's about it.

That scarecrow dude looks pretty bad. He just looks like some nutjob that threw on a potatoe sack on his head.

I reckon the effect is cool.

What would be scarier? A man with a sack on his head beating the shit out of you? or a scarecrow who's come to life beating the shit out of you. I prefer the former, coz the latter is the funny. I dunno.

Reminds me a bit of the Cronenberg doctor character from Clive Barker's Nightbreed movie. If I'm not mistaken, they share a similar fashion sense; although I believe the doctor in Nightbreed had a Mr. Garrison / Mr. Hat relationship with his mask.

Have you...read the comics?
The ones where Batman has a neck and doesn't look like he's made of rubber?

If Scarecrow wears formal business attire in the comics, I think they are making some pretty bad mistakes about what to be faithful to and what to change. Those stills look really absurd. :lol :lol

Depends. Sometimes he does and sometimes he doesn't. I don't know what your gripe is, as he only wears the mask to torture inmates with his experiments. They hallucinate and see him a lot worse usually. I think if he decided to come to work in the get up you see him wearing on the horse, then - um - maybe the police might catch on?

"There goes Johnathan Crane again, wearing straight jackets and his costume!"

I think they are making some pretty bad mistakes about what to be faithful to and what to change.

Not really. You can be annoyed that he's not wearing a cloth costume (Batman that is), but that's never going to fly. I'm glad they a) made something he can move easily in and b) doesn't have nipples.

Those stills look really absurd. :lol :lol

... Uh, maybe because they're production stills? The screen cap shows it's night and day. Everyone laughed when they had those shots of Batman in a white background with heavy light several months back, but then were like, "Hey, it doesn't look nearly as bad!"

WOW IT'S CALLED POST-PRODUCTION.

I'm usually overly critical of comic book based films simply from having an earlier attachment to many of the franchises that are surfacing as movies, but I think this looks to be putting Batman back on track. The stills look virtually lifted from the comics in their framing, although whether that's by coincidence or storyboarding, I don't know. I'm liking what I see tremendously, and I just hope the end product matches the level of care these stills are showing. About the only thing I have my doubts on is Scarecrow, but I'll save my reservations for the film; the nature of the character just makes it hard to come across well in stills I think.

Yeah, it doesn't look as hot now. I was never too keen on thei dea of The Scarecrow. Seeing him now makes me think of those troma movies.

It would be awesome if the scarecrow guy fell into a vat of acid and the sack was grafted onto his face so that it moved with his musculature. Yes, I admit it, I'm really Joel Schumacher.

Scarecrow fits nicely in this movie, once you see how he is involved in things as well as how his victims will view him after the fear gas you will agree. I'm sure the others who have read the script would agree as well. This movie sets a few things up for sequels to go in a few different directions.

"Do you understnd?"
Is that from Manhunter/Red Dragon?

WHY IS EVERYTHING WHITE

fucking balls to this.

That picture is great. As I think somebody already mentioned, it looks very Dawn of the Dead-ish...

So much for Batman Begins being faithful to the true Batman. Several changes, omissions, etc, such as no nipples on Batman's suit.

Thanks for reposting the pics (the first post they were WHITE as mentioned).

It looks really good. I'm looking forward to this.

The scarecrow guy makes me think what a live action Resident Evil 4 movie could be like (chainsaw dude). But they have to make crappy original stories that aren't even close to the games.
