I think it looks pretty bad ass...

$50/hour, but no kissing on the lips and colors must be pre-separated
Looks good, hopefully we'll finally get a Batman that does the darker-era of Batman comics some justice...

Agreed. And I have a feeling this Batman could rank right up there with Burton Batman.
Better...this time the actor playing Batman has some real martial arts training :p

Yeah but it's hard to beat Burton's colorful cast(s): Michael Keaton, Kim Bassinger, Billy Dee Williams, Michael Gough, Jack Palance, Danny DeVito, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Christopher Walken.

And I simply love the whole Burton atmosphere, helped by Danny Elfman's score.

Heh I like Batman Begins cast even more than Burton's Batman crew to be honest

I mean, just to see Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, Liam Neeson, and Gary Oldman in the same movie is amusing enough. I liked Christian Bale in the few movies I saw him in, and they even somehow managed to dig up Rutger Hauer for this too.

Batman Begins, from the script, is the best Batman story ever written for the screen and is the closest to the comic ANY version gets to the tone of the comic and the origin story. Burton's Batman is as bad as the 60's movie based on the TV series in comparison.

JJ Abrams gets credit for digging him up for the "Best. Alias. Episode. Ever" Phase One...I'd say Nolan is just dusting him off a bit.

Speaking of Elfman, has a composer been announced for this yet?

Yep. James Newton Howard & Hans Zimmer. The next trailer, which should debut next week, will contain new material from Howard just for the trailer.

Dan

No longer boycotting the Wolfenstein franchise
Guess I'll have to go see Ocean's 12 as soon as possible then, unless the trailer shows up online right away. Ocean's 12 should be fun though.

Burton made a Burton movie, not a Batman movie. The punk only read two Batman comic books before directing the film.

I really hate how Burton has a tendeny to come into a franchise (Batman) or a remake (Planet of the Apes) and just screw it up and do whatever the hell he wants.

Batman Returns was just gross. A mutant penguin that spews bile and bites noses? Why, that sounds like a perfect interpretation of tha Bat Mythos!

Christopher Nolan and Goyer have really done an extremely good job on this new film so far. The only thing I'm not really digging is the "batmobile", but that's about it.

Here here...

Hollywood Square
:lol @ "Batman Begins to Mow the Lawn"...

... it's a great poster, but with the Viagra and lawn mower spoofs already, it begs to be photoshopped.

Also, Batman Begins > Neverending Story Part III > Batman/Batman Returns

They were filming this outside my work in london a few months back. I tried to get on to the set but I was spotted because i stood out amongst all the extras.

They had put a "Gotham City Courthouse" sign outside one of the buildings and I think the scene had something to do with reporters confronting somebody as they emerged from a building.
