I'm actually playing a preview build of this game (Xbox version) as we speak. I expected much worse, it plays pretty much like an uglier Max Payne 2 with some magic spells thrown in for good measure. I haven't gotten very far in it just yet, but so far it's much better than other movie-to-videogames products I had the bad fortune to play like Fight Club and Catwoman. This one at least doesn't give me the urge to stop playing after 5 minutes.

Having said that : yeah the graphics aren't its strong point that's a fact. On the other hand, the cut scenes are decent enough, and the way the story is presented also ain't all that bad.

You lot are mentalists. This. Looks. Brilliant.

And think about it, why have extra polys on the inside of the gun, when you can have them on FLYING CARS AND BUSSES IN THE ANNALS OF HELL!!!

And Volt: I think you will enjoy Hell's Temple and the Museum levels. I know I did. Some decent puzzles in there. The candle puzzle remains my favourite thus far. Very cerebral (at least it was last I played it).

Well I've only gotten into Eriu's Basement so far, not sure how long this preview build will actually allow me to play. Haven't encountered many puzzles yet, and only a couple of magic spells. But oh well, like I said before, it seems to be a decent enough game. I don't even terribly mind the fact that it has little or nothing in common with its source material (the Hellblazer comics).

Aren't you the same Boutros that works for Bits, the developers?

Meh. Does it have a skin where you can make the character actually look like John Constantine in it? If he doesn't have a tattoo of a tree on his arse, I'm not interested.

Right, then it's pretty crummy that you're pimping your company's shite on here.

Mods, ban this viral marketer.

Hey now, I didn't pimp shit. Responded to a post with some honest good words. Ain't a single lie in my post.

Hell does look great - particularly on the Xbox.

And aren't you that whiny Future journo who seems scared of revealing his true identity?
