I started a new lab job recently. One day at lunch, this guy comes over to me and tells me, "I think I know you".

Me: I don't recognize you *suddenly realizes who it is*
Him: I'm pretty sure
Me: *shit I'm wearing a name-tag* No I don't think I've seen you before.
Him: were you a boy scout?
Me: erm yes
He smirks and gives me a devious look. *I look busy and scurry away to the boss*

This guy and his friends made me miserable from 8th to 10th grade. I hope 5 years has changed the guy. :/

I was never picked on (I was friends with the bullies AND the victims. Weird, huh? ) so I don't really know what to tell you. But you shouldn't have run away like that. Now he KNOWS that he's got some form of intimidation power over you.

I'm not exactly scared of him, but afraid that tension can interfere with my work and interactions with other coworkers. We're doing about the same kind of thing, but I have more experience than him. Maybe I can slip stuff into his reagent bottles.

Hammy, this has to be a BS story.


But since we're on topic, we don't even have bullies in school anymore. Most people are cool with eachother, except for the occasional cat fight or hell, even racial tension (My highschool recieves students from poorer cities that don't have highschools in their towns). I know it sounds bad on paper, but almost half the kids from the other towns are real assholes. On the first day of school there was a fight between a white kid from my town and a black kid from one of the other towns... apparently, the black kid was going down the halls calling all of us "Rich Crackaz."

He was destroyed thusly.


Though I have to admit, it's a real blessing that I'm 6' 4" and have some muscle on me. Nobody ever fucks with you in highschool or any parties, and you get respect where it isn't deserved.

There's nothing you can do really, as your the newbie. Just work with him and not to be intimidated by him.
Anyway it'll probably work itself out in the end-the dude's probably grown up.
Otherwise TBS will be giving you fight tips.

Heh, oddly enough that was filmed in my high school.

And if I were to ever meet the kid who picked on me in high school? I don't know what I'd do. Depends on the mood I'd be in at the time I guess. Could reminise about old times. Could beat his ugly head into the sidewalk. Either or.
