Yeah, I think that's Reeve... And I'm almost 100% sure that's Yuffie in "disguise". The guy with the big gun ownz. And if this game is multiplayer, it's almost sold.

Now, the main question - how does it play? The fact if only FF7 fans will buy this game depends on that.

Yes, that's Reeve on the right, and the guy at the bottom with the hat and cape is supposedly Cait Sith... or is it!?! That's what they say. It is probably Yuffie as you are all saying. It says "Mysterious Ninja".

supposedly being the last chapter in the Compilation of FFVII, storyline wise, I'm really anxious to see how Kitase wraps this whole thing up. He mentioned in an interview that the conclussion to this whole compilation would be a pretty significant thing for fans of FFVII. If he was talking about how the story concludes or, possibly, a PS3 remake of FFVII as the compilation's 'conclussion', he didn't specify- but regardless, I'm excited.

Possibly, but all through E3 the game's producer was insisting that they were holding off until TGS to show in-game stuff since they were still futzing around with a lot of the stuff in the office. I'd be happy if they show stuff at the upcoming conference, though.

Some additional information from the scans:

Next week's issue of Jump (#35) features some new shots of Dirge of Cerberus, and some information on 3 characters. First is Reeve Tuesti, Cait Sith's controller and now leader of the World Restoration Organization (W.R.O), it seems his is being attacked by someone. The second is Azul, the giant Deep Ground SOLDIER who also appears in Before Crisis. In DC he seems to have gained a new barrier skill he didn't have in BC. And third is a mysterious ninja, in a white mage-like robe and armed with a giant shuriken (which also seems to have a pink ribbon on). They seem to be overly friendly with Vincent, so it could be Yuffie.

Also featured on the scan is an introduction to the three different types of guns Vincent can use (handgun, machine gun and rifle), and an online multiplayer mode where you can challenge others over a network, play as a Deep Ground SOLDIER and fight in teams. A web address is given, but the site doesn't seem to be up yet.

I doubt the ninja is Yuffie - why make such a mystery out of a possible appearance by her? The person also looks younger, which makes me think it's AC's Denzel. I don't think Cloud will be in Dirge either...

Naw I just think they delegate all their good artists towards certain big projects. FFXII looks like the art is coming along good in my opinion.

I don't think Cloud will be in Dirge either...

It's hardly evidence, but in the DoC FMV, right after you see Barett and Tifa (?), you see someone riding a bike. Could be Cloud, he's kinda associated with bikes. Only his enemies in AC are seen with bikes prominently. It's too far-fetched to say it's him though.

The first press release regarding DoC mentioned, that "Cloud and Vincent's old friends" will be back to help him. And the bike thing, yeah.
