Hmm, where are Battalion Wars (GC) and Animal Crossing (DS)?

I wonder what GBMicro will cost over here, probably some 110? or so. :(

DS releaselist looks pretty solid. Is Mario & Luigi 2 a 2006 release?

Wario Ware Twisted: 4th Quarter :(

I HATE NINTENDO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I need this game!!!! It was announced for June 3rd, then June 24th!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nintendo ......

I'm so disappointed ...uhhh...

Very strange... shops have been able to order Wario Ware Twisted for its end-of-June-release for almost a month, and that usually means that the date is set in stone.

Oh, and Animal Crossing will definitely not come out in Europe this year. Next spring at the earliest.

Yes, but even the Nintendo media site changed the date to TBD now :(

Fire Emblem: November.
Pokemon XD: November.
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess: November

That's a pretty good lineup from Nintendo alone.

NoE suck, it's as simple as that. The release dates - especially for the GBA and DS - are fucking disgraceful. With the price of the $, what possible reason do Europeans have for NOT importing?! I know I'll never buy a EU GBA/DS game because of the shocking release and the high price (£30 = $55?)

That's smart. Releasing Zelda at the same time as MS releases 360.

Not.

Stupid nintendo...

All I can come up with is that we usually get better box art, but do I want to pay $20 for that? That would be "no". I bought my DS from the US and same for the games. I will continue this practice. Hell, I have yet to pay more than $20 for brand new, sealed DS games, some of them not even out in Europe yet. NoE must think we are all stupid, stupid, stupid.

Agreed mate. It's shocking really.

Stupid nintendo...

Releasing a highly expected game for a stablished system it´s always better busines that launching a new system in the short term.

What makes me laugh so much is Pokemon Emerald...November release? wtf? I'm playing the US version right now! (and have been for weeks)

You'd expect them to learn from the fiasco with the mass importing of the last Pokemon game but of course not...they're fucking idiots tbh and so are most Europeans because it was STILL the fastest selling GBA game ever. Yeah, importing really harmed sales, didn't it? ;)

What pisses me off is the delay of Wario Ware Twisted. The only reason I can find is that they want to promote the launch of Game Boy Micro with the best possible line-up.
And Kirby?? There's no reason to delay that game so long. The translation process + localisation testing for a game like Kirby should only last 4 weeks.

I just wish the Europeans could stick with english as the only language so the localization process would go faster. As of now, they need to add french, german and spanish...sigh.

November for Zelda? Good work Nintendo.

Most Zeldas get similar treatment. I don't think WW did, but OoT certainly did. It's a pity NOE can't do the same for every game..this shows they can when they want to, though, which is a bit shameless considering they don't 95% of the time.

I disagree. We're paying $10-20 more per game, so I think we deserve to get the games in our own language. It's OK with me as I know English, but there are lots of people in Europe that don't. I don't think a US gamer would feel comfortable playing games in Japanese, so the same goes to Spanish, French or German people.

What they should do (at least with Japanese games) is translate the games directly from the original language, instead of waiting to have a US English translation. They did that with Zelda Minish Cap, and we got the game in Europe first. So that shows Nintendo can bring the games early, and localised, if they want.

No. They should get the english titles out in the UK first and then work on the Euro languages.

It should be real easy just to convert the gamecode to Pal.

I remember in the early days of NES all the games were in english only, I started playing when I was about 7 and I didn't understand one tiny bit of English but I still enjoyed it immensely.
It even helped me a lot, I guess, making english much more familiar when I started to learn it at school. But I still suck at it, though. :P

I'd rather stick to the english text/multi-languages manual and cheap games.
