Who gave MGS 3 a 9? 10 damn you! 10! You idiot! Lol I don't care, but wow... lol

What happened to Metal Wolf Chaos? The demo kicked ass... :(

A very high score, certainly for new hardware (ridge racers). Overall very high scores for PSP games. Famitsu are more sony-like, aren't they?

Viewtiful Joe 2 NGC > Viewtiful Joe 2 PS2 :)

I think gamefront messed up something.

I wish MGS3 got the 40/40. :(
For this and DQ8, I wouldn't be surprised if everyone wanted to give it a 10, but chief hige said "Look guys, we can't go giving out 40s willy-nilly. Nintendo paid us millions for the only 40 this gen."

Wow.. nice score for Ridge Racers, perhaps there's actually a good game behind those graphics.
Viewtiful Joe 2 (PS2, Capcom): 7 / 7 / 7 / 6 - (27/40)
Viewtiful Joe 2 (GC, Capcom): 7 / 7 / 7 / 7 - (28/40)
Ouch.. and what's wrong with the PS2 version?

Wow, johnjohnson's avatar is a more accurate depiction of me than my own avatar is... except for the glasses (which I do need).

Fat - check
Blond - check
Need a haircut - check (kinda looks like I have a mullet if I wear a hat)
Bad fashion sense - check
Doesn't often button shirt - check
Goatee out of laziness - check
Looks tired - check
Xbox Headset - check (Halo 2)

I'm genuinely scared, because I didn't see the South Park episode with this character in it... and I have a hunch the personality was similar too.

Viewtiful Joe 2 (GC, Capcom): 7 / 7 / 7 / 7 - (28/40)
^ Why the difference in scores?

Metal Wolf Chaos (Xbox, From Software): 7 / 6 / 6 / 5 - (24/40) :bushcry

How is it that the two outlets (Gamefront / 2ch) differ in scores? I mean, last I knew, Famitsu printed the numerals.

I thought RR would receive a 40/40...seriously.
I dunno about that. To achieve it you need something earth-shattering.

There will be naysayers towards Vagrant Story being among Soul Calbiur and Ocarina of Time but it's a great game with a deep and immersive storyline matched with a good battle/weapon system.

Heck if RR got a 40/40, I'd hate to see the inflated scores each and every DQ has got. It's a religion there but none have achieved that ultimate status.

:lol

There was a South Park character generator somewhere on the net and my colleagues at work used it to create a south park character for everybody working in the office. My avatar is the one they created to look like me, and it's pretty accurate.

As I said before gamefront says on their site that the scores they have are not yet confirmet and thus to be considered as rumors. So I guess the 2ch scores are right and the gamefront ones aren't.

GUNGRIFFON Alliied Strike (Xbox, Tecmo): 7 / 7 / 7 / 7 - (28/40)

Err wtf ?

GUNGRIFFON Alliied Strike (PS2, Tecmo): 9 /10 / 10 /10 - (39/40)

Fixed :lol

Where's that sad GAF gif? :(
Could be a fake. The game won't be released until 3 weeks so it makes not much sense for famitsu weekly to review it right now. The demo sure was better than a meager 24/40.

Sometimes people forget that Famitsu has multiple prints. You have the main Famitsu magazine, which is just FAT (litteraly :p), and the smaller Famitsu PS2, Famitsu GC and probably Famitsu Xbox (not so sure about that one, considering the system doesn't fare that well, but I'll stop this ranting seeing I don't want to cause any commotion).

Anyway, the scores below have been taken from the French site PlayFrance.com, but not really sure it's really legit. Someone try and find out! :p

Famitsu :
Ridge Racers (PSP, Namco): 8 / 10 / 10 / 9 - (37/40)
Minna no Golf Portable (PSP, Sony): 8 / 8 / 10 / 9 - (35/40)
Dokodemo Issho (PSP, Sony): 8 / 8 / 7 / 7 - (30/40)
Kotoba no Puzzle Mojipittan Daijiten (PSP, Namco): 8 / 7 / 6 / 7 - (28/40)
Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater (PS2, Konami): 10 / 10 / 10 / 9 - (39/40)
Tales of Rebirth (PS2, Namco): 8 / 9 / 9 / 9 - (35/40)
Armored Core: Formula Front (PSP, From Software): 8 / 7 / 8 / 7 - (30/40)
Kotoba no Puzzle Mojipittan Daijiten (PSP, Namco): 8 / 7 / 8 / 8 - (31/40)
Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyuu 11 Chou Ketteiban (GC/PS2, Konami): 7 / 7 / 7 / 8 - (29/40)
Viewtiful Joe 2 (PS2, Capcom): 7 / 7 / 7 / 6 - (27/40)
Legions Gekitou! Saga Battle (PS2, Bandai): 6 / 6 / 7 / 7 - (26/40)

Famitsu PS2 :
Ridge Racers (PSP, Namco): 8 / 9 / 9
Vampire Chronicle: The Chaos Tower (PSP, Capcom): 7 / 7 / 7
Mahjong Kakutou Club (PSP, Konami): 7 / 8 / 8
Minna no Golf Portable (PSP, Sony): 8 / 9 / 9
Armored Core: Formula Front (PSP, From Software): 7 / 7 / 7
Dokodemo Issho (PSP, Sony): 7 / 8 / 7
Kotoba no Puzzle Mojipittan Daijiten (PSP, Namco): 7 / 8 / 8
Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyuu 11 Chou Ketteiban (PS2, Konami): 8 / 8 / 8
Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater (PS2, Konami): 10 / 9 / 10
Tales of Rebirth (PS2, Namco): 9 / 9 / 8

Legions Gekitou! Saga Battle (PS2, Bandai): 6 / 6 / 6

Don't exagerate. It is, for the most part, just a compilation.
Yes, I am aware of this. But compare the ammount of staff and resources Namco has put on this with the ammount they were used to put when doing GB/GBC games. Graphics, music, gameplay are on par with the best efforts done this gen on home consoles.

2 Mojipittan scores again :lol
I think the legit one is the one with both VJ2s at 8/8/8/8. I can't see them downgrading the PS2 port.

No, we didn't FORGET, but Weekly Famitsu is the ONLY Famitsu publication with 4 reviewers per game. The scores you posted from Famitsu Weekly are the same ones declared FAKE above. I don't see why you wasted your time posting them again. :P

Meh, they seemed legit, but like I said, not really sure. My bad for not double-checking :p

Can anyone gives us the right scores????!!! :p
