Alright, so the new Mos is out this Tuesday and I copped it a little early. Mos....Mos...you are so good when you just stick to hip-hop. But when you do this "Blackjack Johnson" rock/rap shit it just comes off as weak and half-assed. Stick with your true flow, man. This album is pretty hot.

"Sunshine" the Kanye track is T-I-G-H-T!

Does anyone really like The Beautiful Struggle? With "All the Lonely People" and a few other tracks from his mixtapes on there, and i'd say it would be a good album, but the first 5-7 tracks on the struggle are just average. The latter half of the album is pretty good (tracks like black girl pain, ghetto show, and never been in love). Quality was a great album IMO, but this ones just alright, in my opinion.

New Com comes out soon. Will he talk about love again for 14 tracks?! We'll see!

Masta Ace's "A Long Hot Summer" is one of the 3 best rap albums to come out in the last 5 years. That isn't hyperbole. The album is fucking incredible. I don't think there is a weak track on it (unlike albums like Stillmatic). And Ace is really saying something. Better than Stillmatic and The Fix (two classics, imo).

sunshine is pretty damn good...i really like rapeover tho...he is being very blunt with his words in that song, and i like that.

beautiful struggle could have been so much better.

But, im telling you, lonely people would have never made it on there....it would have to had been on a mixtape or something. theres no way he would have got those samples cleared...especially after that whole black album fiasco.

Long hot summer is really good and i really love "show me love." great great song...(although not better than lonely people...lonely people is one of the best songs this year imo....mostly because of the concept and what he is talkin about and the way it correlates with the sample).

I just ordered mos def's album but i have to agree lonely people, great song, would never have been released due to licensing issues. I'm definitely bumping masta ace in my car. H.O.O.D is prolly my fav song, although every song is dope.

Pick it up. A very short yet very effective album (the way all albums should be) with maybe one or two filler tracks on there. Probably the best production of there most recent albums, particularly the Dave West joints.
