New Hulk game to support progressive scan on PS2,Xbox no Cube

Weird excuse. There are more Proscan GCN than non Proscan GCN. With rev's bc capibilities, you just bit yourself in the ass there as well.

I've worked for Radical in the past, and one thing about this company is that they don't always make the best decisions when it comes to game development.

Their excuse regarding pro-scan being unavailable for Gamecube is pathetic. Sure, Nintendo is absolutely retarded for removing the component ability of all present and future machines - but to remove that feature from a game? It's a simple procedure and one that should've been implemented. Those that can and want to use it could, those that either don't have the right TV or the right Gamecube production model - too bad.

Radical's decision to remove it and blame it on Nintendo is unfair. Maybe their just lazy.

As an owner of a progressive-scan compatible TV... BOOOO!!

As an owner of a GameCube who won't buy Hulk 2 anyway because it's sure to be pure crap... Eh. Doesn't affect me much, although it still sucks. :P

Because we all want to play Hulk on our Rev's :lol

GameCube's lucky to get this game at all... I wonder why VU decided to start supporting the platform all of a sudden. They went from not even releasing the new Crash on the system to unilateral multiplatform support for all their big games.

Reggie kicked ass and took a name

Bah, as long as Nintendo continues to support it themselves I have no sympathy for 3rd parties who make such silly choices. Nintendo even bothered to provided in Animal Crossing and their freebies (Zelda and Pac Man Vs)--that says a lot IMO.

"Only 1% of users have proscan/HD capabilities" - Nintendo
"Welcome to the HD Era" - Microsoft
"THE PS3 CAN RENDAR TEH WORLD TWICE OVER" - Sony

Who to believe?

well Nintendo did say that only 1% of them used it...

And in spite of that, they still support the function in the software. The hardware revision shouldn't make an impact.

it doesn't matter if they still support it, point is they used that as their excuse to remove progressive scan from the GC and now they're gonna have to deal with the consequences

Well now I'm definitely not buying it!

Does anyone really care about the new Hulk game? Did anyone care about the first one?

How stupid. Considering that 75% (conservative estimate) of all GCN's have the progressive scan port still, removing the feature from the game is just...wow..

You're reaching just as badly as these developers are. This is a poor excuse. I don't know much about console tech, but I doubt that supporting pro-scan on the GC is tough thing to do. It's not like they are implementing normal mapping or bloom lighting or whatever the buzzword of today is.
