nice pics. can't wait for LA Rush

btw, Midway Arcade Treasures 3 (with Rush The Rock: Alcatraz Edition)
comes out in a little over 3 weeks :D

I thought the demo was very "meh", the car wasn't hard to control but it wasn't easy either (I guess the word is sloppy) and there were a lot of annoyances. Crashing into another car goes into a Burnout-like slow-motion cam but you can't skip it, you can only mash the button and speed it up so that it only wastes about 5 seconds of your life instead of the default 15. Those 5 seconds seem like an eternity when it's the 6th car you've hit in the race so far and you're battling for position, you're just like come onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn.

I also noticed the traffic in the game is literally traffic. I've come around corners and found bumper-to-bumper pile-ups that leave me no choice but to plow through them, which just plain sucked. I came around a corner once to see a big-rig blocking the entire road, there was no way around him. I tried to go under him but it didn't work. The game just wasn't fun. :/

The game really is "burnout + freeroam". It's one of the saddest rip-off in a while.
The feels NOTHING like Rush and i'm extremely deceived, the demo turned me off completely. Alleluia for the Midway AT3!!

Actually, it's a duplicate of Midnight Club. It feels so incredibly similar to MC3 to the point that I almost forgot that I wasn't playing MC3. :P It's Midnight Club with a little Burnout. No Rush here...

I think it's more like Midnight Club raping Burnout 3.

Looks like the PS2 version will have better sparks. :lol. I can't believe that screen actually has sparks. This is worse than how close Saints Row is to the GTA series, cause at least Saints Row looks like it could bring some improvements to the GTA type game. This just looks bad.

totally agree, the worst aspect by far is probably the brain dead track design.
