Well, I wanted to build a big 'ol gaming rig last month...then realized the only games I played on my old laptop were Civilization 6...
So, I opted to just grab an HP Omen. Not to shabby, i7 with a 1060 in it.

But, to me, it has that new set-up I am not use to dealing with...an SSD and a HDD.

I read a little about it, how the SSD would be smaller for quicker speeds and such and the HDD would be for slower speeds and big storage..
I saw what the laptop had (128GB SSD and 1TB HDD) and thought "Oh, perfect...OS on SSD, games/pics/programs etc on HDD"

So, got the laptop setup, added some small programs (Malware bytes, PSNow, Steam, etc..) and downloaded 2 or 3 games from my Steam collection..
And now I have 4GB left on my SSD...and 1 TB on my HDD...

So, what's the best way to remedy this? Lol
I can switch out the SSD (Thankfully the Omen allows this) but I just spent a bunch and dont wanna throw out more money just yet.

Should I transfer (and how do I direct then to the HDDcause I didnt really see an option to which drive to install stuff) some stuff to the HDD? What would be the best things to keep on SSD and which to switch over to HDD?

The option to choose the installation drive is available when you first install the program. Keep the programs that you use the most often on the SSD. Data and lesser used programs on the HDD.
