New Life is Strange update improves lip-syncing

I was using that as a bad example... GoT is absolutely horrid. Everytime I walked by my gf playing it, I couldn't believe it looks that bad on a PS4.
It's bad in the grand scheme but still is a bit more expressive than life is strange. They also clearly aren't taking advantage of the next gen consoles likely due to their strict release schedule.. ;-;

That's cool, I was able to overlook it, but I understand why people would be put-off by how sub-par it was. Hopefully this means more people will play it.

The lip sync animations was probably the only big complaint I had with Life is Strange. I'm glad to see it improving. I just hope it isn't a minimal fix.

They weren't taking advantage of last gen consoles either.

I just got the physical PS4 version (EU) but it there are no updates available.
It's probably included. Directors commentary is noted in the patch notes for the digital version as well as improved lip syncing, and seeing as that was one of the big advertising points for the physical version, so I guess it's all already included.

Played through the first episode last night. If this is improved lip syncing then I'd hate to have seen it before. It's pretty distracting to be honest.

They drop this like two weeks after I finish the game. Damn.

No comparison videos yet?

I just finished it just last night and the game broke in the last episode where a person who was talking's mouth didn't move at all, really bugged me and took me out of it. :(

Yep, seems to happen to everyone, at least on PC. It's on episode 5
at the diner when Max is talking to Warren
, she doesn't move her lips during a couple of emotional lines. Not sure if this problem was there before, the update dropped when I was on episode 3.

That's the very one, really annoyed me, I had to look away when she was on screen.
