He was actually more liberal 60 years ago, so I would've liked him better back then. He wasn't a Hitler youth by choice, nor was he in the army by choice. He avoided the Hitler Youth's meetings, and fled the army shortly after being conscripted. We've got nothing against him; he's just the pope...

I find Ratzinger's head replaces Boris Yeltsin's well. The thing is, so much of the funny in, say, a "Yeltsin dancing" picture is in the face, so the pontiff actually acts as a sort of Bounty paper towel for humor.
