I would really like to hear what people think of it when they hear it (legally of course). The name is we're not happy 'til you're not happy. There is a cover from a Morrissey song and people say it might me catchy. At least it cannot be worse than Cheer up, that sucked bad.

I just heard it. It's not that bad, though I have ot admit I have liked all their albums, no matter how sold out they sound.

Even Cheer up? How so? I do not remember any song from it save for the Frank Sinatra cover and the pop-ballad at the end, and to me RBF is all about uber-catchy songs. Then, what would be the catchiest songs from this new album? I heard mixed opinions from my friends who are fans of the band. How's the Morrissey cover, we hate it when our friends become succesfull?

I've had this sitting on my iPod for like a week now, and I only ever get the chance to listen to the first 4 songs. Out of those, 3 of them rock. Hopefully I'll get a chance to sit down and listen to the whole thing proper soon here.

Should clarify as well, I've loved all their albums. Even 'Cheer Up!', so if you are just looking for a rehash of Turn the Radio Off, I'm probably not the best person to ask how this new one sounds.

I like on how their songs sound the same, I just hope I will remember it as fondly as all their classics. ;)

Hrm, I actually rather enjoyed the feel of Cheer Up. Boss DJ and ESPECIALLY Drunk Again were great songs, the whole album is a good driving CD. Will definitely pick it up this week though:)

Yes, but I need successors to Take on Me, Beer (I know about the remix), Sell Out, Everything Sucks and other Hungry Like the wolves of this world? I listened to their greatest hits 100 times while I was writing UBER SHITTY compatibility programs in C in College while everyone else played SNES emulators. That made it less painful. :(

I had hoped this band died with all the other ska shit of 1998. Worst music fad ever.

How dare you it's my favorite band ever! I just pre-ordered the album because of this hateful comment of yours! :(

While by and large I would agree that Ska as a whole is a pretty dated scene.. I always thought Reel Big Fish did a commenable job of poking fun of themselves and straying outside of the 'ska' namesake to keep things fresh.

If anything, they are one of the few bands I can put on that have a generally happier tone, if not lyrically happier. Thats got to count for something..

OH and Tamanon, you are 100% correct about Cheer Up being a great driving CD. Turn that one up loud and just go.
