Enterbrain has announced the newest version of its popular RPG creation software RPG Maker. Titled simply RPG Maker, this newest Runtime-developed addition to the series will be released in Japan on December 16th for 6,800 yen ($61.82 US).

Hey, that actually looks decent. Too bad it's for a console, much more suitable for PC as always. Maybe it's possible to connect a USB keyboard + mouse though? Would make dialogue writing bearable at least.

I hope Atlus or Agetec brings this one over. I remember reading that long write up about the Dreamcast Rpg Maker, and it seemed cool as hell. THis looks like it might be better.
