This is a completely CG trailer for the Shadow game. Even though the game itself looks pretty lame, the CG looks fantastic.

"New" target? Geeze, where have you been the past half-year?

And his rage is hardly generic, he freaks out at GUN officer (national defense), GUN's the one that shot dead a girl he has fond memories of.

Any rate, I'm not defending the game necessarily (I haven't played it), but that is definitely pretty CG, particularly for the Sonic series. The characters look much smoother than they did in the Heroes cinemas, with reflections and details that touch them up quite well. Too bad the in-game stuff doesn't look like this.

Damn, they are trying way too hard to make the game look badass. Those beast-like enemies look like something out of Final Fantasy rather than Sonic.
