Remember the Strike series during the 16bit era? A new indie studio decided to make a new spiritual successor to the series and it looks pretty damn good. Today, they announced they got none other than Microprose to publish their game. Check it out.

i always wished EA would take the (amazing balance of arcade and sim) helicopter gameplay from Battlefield 3 and wrap a STRIKE game around it. would've been easy and cheap. oh well.

this pretty cool though

The "new" Micropose has a bunch of very interesting niche games.

It's already one of my favorites small publishers.

I loved Desert, Jungle, and Soviet Strike. Never played Urban or Nuclear. I did get a game called Jupiter Strike thinking it was a space version but it was completely different.

Cleared Hot is a nostalgic helicopter shooter combining satisfying physics with light tactical elements for an action-packed experience. Shoot, dodge, and lead your squad across diverse battlefields, and use your rope and magnet to pick up almost anything in sight.

They hit a home run with the demo. The presentation could use a little more polish, but I'm looking forward to getting this one, regardless. Brings back memories of Strike!

Just played the demo, really good. Can't wait for the full release - especially for playing the Deck

Demo is good. Initially thought it was a bit simplistic, but the physics work well and the difficulty ramps up on the first mission, post tutorial. Music is a bit bland though.
