IF they can get the driving physics right (for example, like NFS: porsche unleashed, it's made by same studio after all) this game could be great. Hopefully Atari doesn't go bankrupt until then..

I hope it delivers...but I'm still pretty disappointed with the lack of traffic. I was hoping to see a lot more. Hopefully it's something that's added towards the end of it's development.

I'm so sick of seeing only photo mode screenshots. Still, I wastly prefer countryside to urban environments so it gets bonus points for that. Maybe this will be the first decent test drive game since TD2 (I haven't played the dreamcast ones though).

everything i've seen of this game in motion (especially gameplay) makes it look like ass no matter how decent the shots look. that, and that i have no interest in the sub-genre they are doing (mmo with pimp my house and driver echo bullshit)

I realy don't like next-gen. More detail == more things that don't fit for the eye.
Blocky roads are a big no-no in these kind of games.

The first three Test Drive's released in the late 80's and early 90's were driving games, but you could race opponents. The latter TD's (which have been shit) were more racey then drivey. I think they're aiming to get back to what the original games were, which were realistic driving games where you could race.

Considering how accurately they modeled the respective cities in the game, the only reason you could say that it looks "dull" is if you thought that these environments look dull in real life, which I don't happen to agree with. Let me guess, you would've prefered a more "anime" look, right?

Any ideas of how many people can actually exist in one particular 'world' in this game? I can't imagine there'd be hundreds...but on a medium sized map with a decent amount of friends this could be cool. I've never played a TD game before though...
