I know the title's a bit extreme, but I've been trying to find News Radio on DVD for the last ... well since it was released a couple months back, but I'm having zero luck. Was it recalled? Small number produced? What's up here?

Did you check Wal-Mart? I got it there a couple weeks ago, they had plenty.

EDIT 2: I can't wait for the season 3 set... I don't know what it is about Newsradio, but it's really the only DVD where I've made a point of listening to the commentary right away. With others I've generally listened to chunks here and there or well after the purchase. So far I've watched the first disc plus all its commentaries and I'm loving it.

I've tried checking Wal-Mart with no luck. I'd love to get it online, but I have no means of doing so. I don't have a credit card (never bothred to try for one), and I doubt Amazon accepts PayPal.

Another show that's worth taking extra time with is Futurama. There's a lot of shit in the backgrounds you can only catch on DVD. A hilarious example is when Fry and Leela are riding on a sled on Hyperion when she's in a coma. Fry opens a pack of "Semite Coca." Or in the episode where Zoidberg is put in jail (A Taste Of Freedom), the prison is called "Commander Rikers Island"

Yeah, I should probably spend some quality time with my Futurama DVDs (not to mention Simpsons). But next on deck for TV on DVD to watch is Home Movies season 2.
