I've been debating the purchase of this newsreader, but I'm not sure how much I trust a company I know nothing about with my credit card. Anyone ever purchase this program?

Nah, I used the hell out of it for thirty days then went back to GrabIt and .NZB files.

My cousin purchased an older version and apparantly the license expired for no reason. Then the author disappeared or something and everyone was screwed. So he was forced to use 'other means' to use the program he paid for.

The program occassionally lost my license info as well so I'm back to version 1.0 since it seems to retain it... for now.

I bought it because of the super search feature. It's great in combination with the 45+ days retention of giganews.

The company behind the product however is a bit strange. The newsleecher website went down for a few days and I wasn't able to run the program anymore.

i purchased it within hours after being serious about usenet as all the other programs choke to death in large groups. the supersearch is brilliant
