Edit. Here, I'll throw out some bait fud. PS5 doesn't have GDDR6!!!! PS5 is RDNA1!!!! Strike that, PS5 is RDNA4!!!!!!! Xbox doesn't have GDDR6!!!! PS5 controllers have a two hour battery life and require six hours to charge to two hours of use!!!!!! Xbox controllers don't have spasm triggers!!!!!! Xbox SSD is basically HDD!!!!!! I don't know what he's on about with Gears 5 being rubbish port on PC. I thought it was regarded as a great example? I didn't have any problems with it. Most of the Steam reviews are people complaining they can't log in to Xbox Live.

A lot of nonsense in that video, not really a single coherent thought to be found. LOL But that's YT for you.

The direct PC comparison was done using the current PC build on Ultra settings, that build doesn't make use of primitive shaders. Poor guy just can't come to terms with the fact that the consoles are about to surpass the GTX2080, how old is that thing now?

When Gears 5 came out I had a 1070ti and it ran beautifully at 1440p.

Gears 4, that was a different story for me.

So that part of his video didn't land for me. I don't remember Gears 5 having a lot of performance complaints on PC

But I think his other point is fair that it more accurately beats a 5700xt rather than actually matching a 2080.

We'll see how much they focus on claiming what games are running on... would be nice if it was all XSX and they make a point of making that claim.

Maybe I'm a sucker but at this point I'd beleive them; feel like smoke and mirrors MS is a thing of the past. However wouldn't put it past them to just not really mention it and let everyone assume wrongly lol

Yeah we'll only see a couple of seconds worth of gameplay at most. Probably get a deep dive around june/july
