It's a huge gap between XSX and XSS. Not just GPU, but memory wise.
I don't want to bring that discussion back though. I believe we saw enough already.

Warzone is messed up big time with PC crossplay. Almost every second or third match with my buddies we run into stupid ass aimbot/headshot/wall hackers in the game, it's so hilariously egregious. Also it's quite satisfying to login to warzone a few days later to receive the message from Infinity Ward that the punk ass whom i reported got his ass banned

Put the neurons to use and think about what it would mean for game development if in 2018/2019/2020 devs still had to release a day and date version of a Xbox with 1/3 GPU, 50% bandwidth, less than 2/3s of the memory. And no , games on PC aren't made with 400Glops gpus in mind.

Yeah, but the XSS is targeting 1080p, not 4K. From 4K to 1080p, is 4x less pixels, while the GPU is only 3x less powerful. Even getting to 1440p is almost possible since it can basically go to 2160x1215.It's a huge gap between XSX and XSS. Not just GPU, but memory wise.

That's exactly the claim made by xbox internet warriors when they looked at 1 single aspect of the 2 consoles and declaring a performance winner
we refer to it as the good few months before the xbox and ps5 game showcases Then we saw the unreal 5 demo... and we saw Craig... and the i/o advantages of the ps5, and so on...
Now we have one side with a considerably powerful console and the other side with a powerful console + a nerfed one + 2 years of last gen support + pc....

Guys, just to be clear, you do know aimbot is a default setting on consoles in order to compensate for the terrible aim precision of joysticks vs kb / mouse. I wish they would just openly support keyboard + mouse on consoles, so it would be easier to play for everyone

Xbox presentations have zero to do with Playstation presentations unless you are some console warring 12 year old. I've personally written off Xbox for at least the first year, but what in the flying fuck does that have to do with my interest in the playstation presentation? Nothing.
I'm buying a PS5 and want to see more gameplay videos than Ratchet (since I'm not that interested in it.)

LOL, .. IRL, I have an IT-esque job while not being part of IT. Systems administration type stuff. While I have a good enough understanding of tech to follow conversations to a point, it's like being caught between genius and moron. You enter a dinner conversation with friends on something that sounds like you know what you're talking about until people start talking about the chip set breakdown, and maths involved in making games work. Then, for me, I just mentally start to drool on myself and ask if I can be excused for an extended bathroom break.

The issue with what we have seen so far is not the ability of XSS to run last gen games, its the texture quality and assets even at 1080p or 1440p due to the RAM amount.
Some of the xb1s textures and 900p can look quite last gen, and not a good start for next 7 years even if you game at 1080p, it should look higher quality 1080p and quality pixels and textures at 1080p.......
