I don't think it's confirmed either way, but the way the games were presented according to Shog's video, lumps Sonic together with VF, Afterburner 3 and HotD4. This isn't proof of anything and it's hard to imagine that demo as a Sonic arcade game, but it's the only evidence we have as far as I know.
That would make sense, and of course they were using a Xbox S controller during the demo too. Sonic 360 was rumoured quite some time before E3 too.
There are contradictory reports on what controller was being used to play the Sonic demo and it may not even be that relevant because it was apparently a USB-based controller according to Shog.

VF, HotD4, Powerdrift 2 and Afterburner 3 are 100% Lindbergh.

I cannot vouch for the other videos - though some of them was obviously running on Lindbergh - but I do know that Sonic was running on the early dev kit.
Just a reminder... Sega also demonstrated a MECH game (it could have been Gundam) that look absolutely amazing - same quality as the PS3 mech demo - and it also made my jaw drop. You all have obviously forgotten about this amazing looking game that was shown at the same show so I would award anyone a gold merit if you could find out more about it.

The Chrome Hounds demo was clearly separated from the other demos by the announcer in Shogs video. I made a transcript and posted it in one of the earlier Lindbergh threads. The announcer says something like: and now for something even more amazing not using any pre-rendered footage Sonic is being played in realtime arriving sooner than you think (pp) after the Chrome Hounds demo.

I don't know why it matters what this stuff was running on, particularly the demo stuff. Sonic isn't gonna be exclusive to anything, so who cares? Afterburner and HOTD4 were actual games, and were obviously running on Lindberg. The other stuff could've been running on jazzed up PC's for all we know.

I read your post too quickly (@ work) and I thought yopu were implying that Sonic was a console game 'coz it was shown with Chrome Hounds.
Anyways, here's my transcript from Shog's vid:
This is what the female announcer says between the end of the Chrome Hounds demo and the start of the VF demo: "OK, now for something even more exclusive; from our world-class Sega [inaudible] development studios comes a little surprise; an exciting technology demonstration that is not a pre-rendered movie (I don't know whether or not this was implying that Chrome Hounds et al were not realtime) that will blow your mind. So without further ado, let's begin."
Then follows VF, AfterBurner, HotD4 and Sonic, until the announcer says: "What you are seeing is being controlled in realtime." during the Sonic demo.
At the end she says: "In fact I want to remind everyone that this entire performance was done without prerendered graphics. This "Next Level" that you've just witnessed may be coming sooner than you think. This concludes bla bla...""

I was joking about Powerdrift 2. It's funny, 'coz I mentioned Daytona 3 as a confimred Lindbergh game in another thread and nobody seemed to pick up on it.

I've placed a tentative bet on Sonic being an arcade game running on Lindbergh based soley on how the E3 demo was presented. If I'm wrong then I have only Sega (and that cute-sounding girl) to blame.
