So no.
You brought up the topic and Steelers fans have even less room to criticize other quarterbacks if we are using that ridiculous philosophic.bionic77 said:You know what Ben and Brady have in common? They both went undefeated in the regular season.
You know what they don't have in common? One has a penis (which has been documented by at least two witnesses and in court documents). I believe we have all seen that famous GIF that casts the other ones masculinity into question (not to mention the dancing GIF or the crying GIF).
New England fans are not in a position to criticize other teams quarterbacks or give lectures to ez on race relations.
Is that type of post allowed in here? Figured I'd check with the thread police for future reference.eznark said:Damn it! I would never have stopped laughing if you came back in like an hour with all his pick em's quoted.

Said it last week that maybe the teams coming off bye suck.Teams are 3-9 coming off byes this year, as pointed out by NFL.com. This stat is being used as ammunition that all the time off during the bye week isnt productive. With the lockout already sapping practice time this year, the extended break is supposedly contributing to a lack of fundamentals.
Or perhaps its just random.
The 12 teams with byes so far havent been good teams overall. They are 25-34 this year when they arent coming off a bye.

I never used Ben as a role model for current NFL players either. He is definitely not a good role model either because more often than not he relies on his athleticism instead of working hard at the fundamentals of being a better qb. He is athletic enough to get away with it but that doesn't make it right.Sanjuro Tsubaki said:You brought up the topic and Steelers fans have even less room to criticize other quarterbacks if we are using that ridiculous philosophic.

Yeah. Him, maybe Palmer.Spectral Glider said:Marino stares him down at the end.
But using Boomer's argument, who's this generation's Boomer? Hassledbeck?
I don't think any of these guys are role models. Brady worked at being the best and now he is. My point is as long as these players perform and don't hurt/disrupt the team, I don't give a damn what they do.bionic77 said:I never used Ben as a role model for current NFL players either. And on the second issue. Well there is no response to that one except to say I was right!

I dont want to take away his aggression, Kubiak said on Monday at his weekly press conference. I love it, but hes got to be smart because we dont need to be looking for another kicker. We may have to put a leash on him or something.
But when Titus Young goes the wrong route, they just need sure hands.

Yeah, Rackers has been making tackles since he was in AZ... haven't seen the video, about to check it out.MechDX said:http://blog.chron.com/nfl/2011/10/rackers-memorable-tackle-draws-ire-of-coach/
Miguel and Smokey, maybe Rackers can replace Manning at FS. Video at link.

If he's anything like MaddenBerrian, he'll drop every single wide open 40 yard pass down field. I missed out on so many bombs because Berrian couldn't hold onto the ball. Favre was slingin, then TJack was slangin.Slo said:Bernard Berrian cut. The answer to the 49ers WR woes?

No confirmed teams at TO's workout. Reps are gonna send tapes 2 every team. Will run passing tree w/ QB Casey Hansen throwing him the ball.
