WHAT THE HOLY HELL HAPPENED IN THE SEATTLE-RAMS GAME!!!!! I left at halftime and it was 20 something to 7 or something. i get back and it's tied in OT. The second play i watch had Bruce scoring on 3rd down and winning. Did the Seattle choke that bad or did the Ram come out fired up.

I can think of one. :) Alot of these 4-0 teams had VERY soft schedules.

Yeah playing a banged up Bears team and the Lions sure looks rough.

Seattle was up 27-10 with 6 minutes left.

CHOKE.

Lions are undefeated excluding the eagles game. Same with the Vikings and Giants.

Edit: I could argue that the Eagles, Vikings and Giants are the top three in the NFC. It has not been an easy schedule for philly, they just made it look that way.

bulger has way more heart than i gave him credit for. he was excellent in the 4th when we needed it. to be the champ, u gotta beat the champ. and the rams still own the nfc west. bye bye 10 game home win streak seattle :D :D great game hawks, we'll see you in a few weeks

I am really pissed that we lost this game but I must now look ahead to New England. We will show them that this game was a fluke and will end their winning streak next week! You heard it here first!

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

you all maybe loving (or hating) the seachickens-lambs game, but you probably missed one of the most exciting games of the year with the niners-cardinals. we were down 16 pts with about 4 minutes left, battled back to get to OT, then took the game in OT.

one might say "who cares? you beat the cards!" but it feels good to finally get that first W, no matter who it's against

I'm just glad that the schedule lightens up after Philly and Seattle. It's very likely that we could be 2-5 through 8 weeks and still finish the season 10-6/11-5 and maybe get a wild card. Hopefully we get Davis back for next week's game.

if you start 2-5, there's no way in hell you're gonna win the next 9. not without smitty.

Yeah. There's still hope. But damn this hurts.

No doubt about it. Damn Matt Willig had to be a smartass and throw that flag. Wasted a great effort by both Jake Delhomme (13-20, 173 yds, 1 TD) and Keary Colbert (4 rec, 115 yds, 1 TD).

So glad I hopped on-board the Niners bandwagon this week! :)

Yeah, it's a bit of a stretch. I think we can go 10-6 though, but I'm not sure that'll be enough for a wild card, seeing as if the Seahawks win the West, the Rams are in a good position to get the wild card and if the Eagles win the East, Giants are looking damn good also.

*sigh*

The curse of the NFC Champion continues, I guess.

I can't believe I'm excited for a come from behind victory against the Cardinals. Isn't there some clause that if you get wooped by the Cardinals you have to leave the NFL?

I think there are five legitimate teams vying for the two NFC Wild Card spots: Panthers, Giants, Rams, Lions, and Cowboys. Hopefully the Panthers get one of 'em.

G-Men have their next three games against the Lions, Vikings, and Bears (Oh my!). And later on in the season there's still Atlanta, and Philly again.

I am predicting 9-7 for the G-Men.

Gotdamn today sucks. Welp our offense did what I feared and gave a game away. Ok Jim Mora Jr. the defense is ok now, it's time now to get the offense in shape and fast. We had plenty of chances to get something going and the Vick and offense just fell flat everytime.
God, Vick played horribly today. :(

FMT, looks like you are right about Knapp's playcalling. We in the crowd just were like "WTF was that!" too much during this game.

We've got to tighten up and in a hurry, with the Chargers coming to town next week.

And as if the Falcons losing wasn't' enough, I get home and watch the damn Seahawks blow a 17 pt lead and get me elimnated out of my survival football leagues. :( F-you Seattle. Assholes! Made me miss out on $60.

Only postive note is both the Panthers and Saints losing, so we really don't lose much ground in the division.

What a shocker, they wired Ray. Hopefully he can have a good game despite the "WIRING JINX" Oh yes, he will.

I'm predicting 10-6 for both the Panthers and G-Men, and I expect (hope, in the Panthers' case) those two to get the Wild Card spots in the NFC.

OK! I just want to say....Win or lose....For the record..Kyle Boller is the NFL's shakiest QB. He breaks a tackle.....slides ahead for shitty yardage (but some, I guess) and basically fumbles it. Sure he's already down.....The guy thinks he's McNabb, but he couldn't hold on to a dead body.

Eminem

goddamit, Griese!
And I talked to Pat at lunch yesterday and I said Pat, I said are you coming back? And he looked at me with his pale, ghoulish smile and said Paul, you know I'm already dead. And ya know what, you wanna talk about being dead, that guy KNOWS when he is dead. That's the kind of guy he is.

And the thing is he has a good sense for when and how to run he just doesn't know how to:

1. Slide
2. Tuck the ball

Two dangerous things.

So, how about Culpepper? 36-50 today, 396 yards, 5 TDs.

In the first four games of the season, he is 109-150 on the year, with 13 passing TDs and one rushing TD, one interception, 1341 total yards. And I don't know what his QB rating is for the first four games, but through the first three games, it was 124.8

Manning is the best QB in the NFL. Then I'd say Brady, then Culpepper. A trio of awesomeness.. Culpepper is 3rd because he has to prove himself to me still...I KNOW the other guys are godly. Culpepper can still fold down the stretch like last year.

Manning WAS the best QB in the NFL, there is a new kid in town though, and his name is Roethlisberger.
