All of my 360 games work great with my Samsung widescreen CRT HDTV, but having finally put some time into Need For Speed : Most Wanted, this game, and only this game, cuts off the sides of the image so I can't see half of the hud (what lap am I on, who knows??!?). Any easy help here or is this a common occurance?

Most TVs have a little bit of overscan (where part of the sides get cut off), some more than others. Sometimes videogame developers forget to take this into consideration, and put important stuff on the very edge of the screen. This was a problem with Halo 2 (you couldn't tell how many grenades you had on some TVs), and they released a patch for it that moved everything over a few inches after enough people complained on their forum.
