Crazy how good their PP is. I dont watch Oiler games, but what I see is in limited action is a very large perimeter set up and then dman does a shot on net or the forwards pass it around going for a shot. Really no different than most teams. But they can score at will.

My hatred for the Leafs originated from my mom.
She was a teacher and would grade her papers while sometimes yelling at the TV. "Come on Lafleur go in the corner!" "Backcheck Robinson!"
And she hated the Leafs.
I was 9 years old and playing street hockey with my buddies.
We all wore jerseys from the original 6 teams (Boston, NY, Detroit etc...). You may not like a team but there was respect.

This new kid shows up wearing a Toronto jersey wanting to play with us and we all just beat the shit out of him.
Punches & kicks all over.
The kid's dad rings our doorbell later to confront my mom and the first thing she says to him is "Why the hell did you buy him a Leafs jersey?"
I love you and miss you mom

City and market size it's trash.
But solid hockey teams that play with grit and super loud fans in the arena.
For those of you who dont watch a lot of out of town games and think some of those southern state teams know nothing about hockey and it's half empty, watch Carolina, Vegas and Dallas games. Real loud fans in the seats. Even in the front sections. Dallas games might the loudest. And they all seem to wear green too at every game.
Not corporate guys eating roast beef sandwiches at the carving stations between intermissions like a Leafs game where the start of a period it's dead empty seats because they are finishing up their red wine and food. Just about all of the lower bowl are season ticket holders where most of them are corporate seats. Most people going to the game in those seats dont even care about hockey. They just go because it's free tickets for vendors or random people at the office get seats and they go because it's free. The longstanding hockey fan with season tickets are old people with money. If they go, they arent even cheering loud anyway.
