Vegas doing great. As usual, Edmonton lives and dies by McDavid and Draisatl. The keep sticking to Skinner whose been shaky since late in the LA series. They should had given Cmpbell a shot to shake things up. In his limited play, he's been rock solid.

Good win by Vegas. McDavid did score, but as a whole the dynamic duo did nothing. So did RNH.

Cant expect top scoring forwards to do it every game (even Gretzky and Lemiuex didnt get 2 pts per game every time), but in the playoffs you always need a solid goalie. Doesn't have to be a hall of famer, but overall solid.

And as always, I think I said it earlier the Oilers not having a solid goalie killed them again. Stuart Skinner let in 4 or more goals for the 4th time in 6 games. You need a guy who can steal some 2-1 wins here and there. The Oilers are a team built to win games 4-3 or 6-4. Hard to go far in the playoffs with that kind of system because unless youre the 80s Oilers and 90s Pens scoring dries up in the playoffs as even the worst team making the post season is still a decent team. Teams cant rack up the scoring on bad teams like in regular season.

I saw that and it completely blew my mind. I don’t get worked up over lots of things but that was just Terribad. It’s like they were looking for ways to fall apart. At this point I went and walked the dog.

Can’t win them all I guess.

Now let’s see what craziness happens in the off season

With the remaining teams I'm indifferent who really wins, but if I had to choose I'd go with Seattle because it'd be awesome if they made it to the finals (Vegas is already a solid team who have done great since they joined. Got to spread the love!), and Florida since I like their gritty play (they play like forechecking Isles but with more speed and scoring touch) and underdog status bating Bruins and Leafs.

Carolina on paper should beat Florida, but streaky Bobrovsky is hot. If Vegas meets Seattle, Vegas should beat Seattle, but hell they took down Colorado and Dallas.

Wacky playoffs. But goes to show teams with good balance have done great so far. Each remaining team so far have deep rosters where even 4th liners can pop in some goals.

Pavelski is a stud. Consistently good. Even at 38 years old.

I was listening to sports radio on the way home and they were talking hockey. I was hoping for more Leafs talk, but looks like they are beyond it now talking the other series. One of the hosts brought up how some fans think of the Star as still Benn and Seguin when the team have moved on from them. And that Hintz is never mentioned or respected even though he's had two solid seasons in a row. So true.

If nobody scores during the 4th OT period between Carolina & Florida I say for the 5th period get both Captains at center ice and have a good old knife fight 😆

I was watching the Celts game. Thought Vegas would hold them off.

NBA and NHL playoffs have been awesome this year.... well except Leafs losing. :(

I watched OT again. I swear to fucking god I will turn it off next time.

Stars played much better in this game. I felt they were very lucky to even be in game one.

Knights are up by 4 going into the 3rd period and they are starting with a power play. Looking good for game 3!

Great win by the Knights. Not sure what was up with the Stars. Major against Stone was fucked up and gave the Knights 2 goals. Hopefully they close it out in game 4. Stars fans were throwing popcorn at the Knights. Wow.

Stars stave off elimination. Also congrats to the panthers.

It sucks my hurricanes got swept, but making the playoffs on a consistent basis these past few seasons and being among the best teams sure is better than the almost 10 years we missed the playoffs entirely and constantly being threatened with relocation to Quebec.

Dallas has had so many great chances already. And as I type this, two more. A shame they’ve only got one in the net, feels like that will come back to bite them.

Dallas playing like they have nothing to lose. If I was Vegas I'd be nervous now.
I also have a soft spot for Joe Pavelski.
So many great players retire without ever lifting the Cup. This may be his last chance.

Tough loss for the Knights. The Stars played well last night. Hopefully Vegas will get the next win.

I have no favorites in this fight, I'm just happily surprised we won't see the usual suspects in the Finals (Boston, Colorado, Tampa Bay).
It will be a refreshing watch fer sure 🙂

Not surprised at Vegas' performance, they made it to the Conference finals a couple of times the last couple of years no?

The Knights made it into the finals their first year. Made it to the playoffs every year except for last year. Not bad for being around 6 years.
