NIGHTMARE OPERATOR - Trailer

These are my feelings to any horror videogame:

Not Gonna Happen No Way GIF by FaZe Clan

It's on my wishlist too. Seems interesting. Hopefully something comes of it in a year and it isn't vaporware.

Looks interesting, I wonder how far this is away from release.
Maybe we'll get a release date at the TGS, but I suspect that it might not be coming this year. They did say on Twitter that they'll have a demo up on Steam prior to releasing the game though.

Oh and the main character design is apparently made by Takeshi Oga, who worked on Gravity Rush and Siren among other titles - https://conceptartworld.com/artists/takeshi-oga/

Ah yes, this rings a bell. I wish he did more than just the main character design, I really like Oga's work.

Been keeping an eye on Nightmare Operator for a while now.
I'm already sold on the looks alone, but I really want to get my hands on the game to see how it plays for myself.

This looks fabulous ! I especially dig the Metroid prime-like music in the 1st trailer, please tell me this is also coming to consoles (?)

i was hoping this was some kind of nightmare management simulator where you create the perfect nightmare scenario to scare NPCs based on their worst fears

kinda like ghost master but not in real time

I don't understand why we are scared to play games we KNOW aren't real.

The brain is a fascinating thing.
self preservation system is too important to give us the turn off button

it's the same with pain, beuing able to turn off pain would have some evolution advantages, but our ancestor's monkey brain was too stupid to be trusted with it, and we are not much better either
