Nintendo reveal Legendary Quiz King, a microphone based quiz game hoping to build upon the success of the DS Brain Training series!

Titled Densetsu no Quiz-Ou Kettei-Sen, or Legendary Quiz King - Championship, Nintendo are releasing the game in Japan on December 8th.

It is a question-based quiz game which will boast a staggering eight-thousand questions. Topics covered will include sports, movies and food. Up to four players can compete for virtual trophies and other bonus rewards.

Nintendo are hoping that the success of DS "non-games" such as Brain Training For Adults and Brain Games will mean this game is a hit. However unlike those two examples (which are confirmed as heading to Europe at some point) there's little chance of this game appearing in the West.

Would you have said the same thing about Brain Training? Mario Baseball performed quite well. Don't discount the Cube just yet (in Japan).

No way. The game probably cost them under $50000 to make. They'd only need to sell 4-5K to make up for it.

Because they still have the ability to sell in Japan. I also think it has something to do with the Rev being a year away.
