Games that sold over 80,000 evidently... guess Nintendo games used to sell in Australia...

-Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest (1996)

Nintendo 64
-Super Mario 64 (1997)
-Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire (1997)
-Mario Kart 64 (1997)
-Goldeneye 007 (1997)
-Diddy Kong Racing (1997)
-1080 Snowboarding (1998)
-Banjo-Kazooie (1998)
-The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (1998)
-Star Wars Episode I: Racer (1999)

Game Boy
-Mario & Yoshi (1993)
-Super Mario Land (1993)
-Super Mario Land 2 (1993)
-Tetris (1993)
-Kirby's Dream Land (1993)

...were SNES and GB launched late in AU or something? Nothing before 1993?

That list is out of date to say the least - Ruby & Saphire would have to be there, and Crystal was just under 100,000 in April 03. Smash Bros. Melee was leading the Cube way with maybe 25,000 sales at the same time, but at that point it was selling less than 50 copies a week (although it hadn't hit Players Choice yet). Hardware was at about 53,000 (over 100,000 now I think)at that point too, so they should be overjoyed if they can get one Gamecube game over 80,000.

haha, i love that there are mostly empty spaces. poor 'ole nintendo gets no love in dingo territory.

On the contrary, Nintendo Australia gets most of its stock earlier than Europe for both hardware AND software. It's just that people like Greg Arthurton can't market themselves out of a wet paper bag, much less keep tabs on everything they've achieved. And now that Kate Chambers is gone, all I can do is sit back with some popcorn and watch them struggle :lol

So fucking true that I stab myself silently in the back everytime I see a mistake. Nintendo Australia died years ago in my eyes.

I'm still surprised they managed to get something done for DS, there's an impressive amount of retail space. Considering they outdid Ozisofts woeful handling of the Dreamcast with Gamecube it's utterly amazing.

NAL has got to be the worst division of Nintendo ever. They take in hardly enough stock if that, and almost never market what they have. Cube has the lowest market share of any current system out there now.
