Nice, I own every single EAD game released in USA in the last 6 years(well OWNED, I lost Kirby TNT, will rebuy someday though).

Number of RPGs Developed: 0

one of the reasons I love EAD.

So they made nearly all of the million sellers on DS so far? Some fat Easter bonuses must be going around.

Brain Training, Brain Training 2, and Brain Flex:

Which one(s) is Shinya Takahashi's and which ones(s) is Hiroyuki Kimura's? They were the producers, correct?

Well done EAD (or Nintendo) Ninja!
It is a fact that Wario Ware Twisted for GameBoy Advanced is to be released here in Italy.

what hamtaro games did alphadream develop?

Good point! I did forget those.

Trade & Battle: Card Hero
I thought about this one. I should include it.

Phantom Zona (GBC) 2000
I can't prove EAD was the developer.

Tottoko Hamtaro (GBC) 2000
Tottoko Hamtaro 2 (GBC) 2001
Tottoko Hamtaro 3 (GBA) 2002
Mother 1+2 (GBA) 2004
Korokoro Puzzle: Happy Panechu! (GBA) 2002
Sakura Momoko no Ukiuki Carnival (GBA) 2002
Sennen Kazoku (GBA) 2005
I will explain these in the future.

Dr. Mario + Puzzle League (GBA) 2005*
I wasn't able to confirm EAD did the Dr Mario GBA game. It could have been Newcom or even NST.

Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Master Quest (GC) 2003**
I know. For some reason I didn't feel like including it as a game.

Animal Forest e+ (GC) 2003
To be honest this game is just Animal Crossing the USA version. I would consider Animal Forest N64, and Animal Forest e+ (Animal Crossing USA) as two actual releases instead of the three games that were published. Do you get what I'm saying?

Well. I wanted to highlight the development efforts rather than amount of games published. These all ran through that emulator Tomohiro Kawase and Hideaku Shimizu programed at EAD.

F-Zero Climax (GBA) 2004

Suzac mainly with an EAD guy or two producing.

does anyone know what involvement plato had in english learning? they're on the

Pratt? Well this company developed this popular PC program. EAD got the rights and reprogrammed it for DS. Kind of like when they did Sim City on SNES.

what hamtaro games did alphadream develop?

They did like the last 2 or 3 no??

Which one(s) is Shinya Takahashi's and which ones(s) is Hiroyuki Kimura's? They were the producers, correct?

Shinya Takahashi has Brain Age 1/Brain Age 2/Jam With The Band/Learn English under his division. Hiroyuki Kimura has Big Brain Academy.

Wario Ware: Twisted! was developed by Intelligent System.

The original Wario Ware GBA game was developed by EAD alone. But the last 3 (GC, GBA sequel, NDS) were co-developed by EAD and Intelligent Systems. Check the credits it's pretty much 50/50. EAD does the graphic design, music, and game design. Intelligent Systems does most of the programming (Though both Touched and Twisted also have EAD programmers).

Wasn't Yoshio Sakamoto the producer of the Wario Ware Touched and Twisted games?

And thanks for the clarification of the Brain Training games, Ninja.

Hmm, didn't see it it <- I am blind...

The Legend of Zelda: Tetra Trackers, wasn't it renamed?

My understanding was that Tetra's Trackers was just absorbed into the Japanese version of Four Swords Adventures in addition to the Hyrulean Adventure and Shadow Battle pieces of the game.

IS at least has been up to par this gen. :)

Up to par? IS has been, hands down, one of the very best development studios period this gen. I can't wait to see what those awesome bastards do with the Revolution, and what they do next with the DS.

ethelred said:

Yeah, I probably should have said much more improved this time around. FE: PoR And Paper Mario 2 were fucking phenomenal.

Wow Nintendo has been Milking EAD like crazy. Iwata leave them the fuck alone and let them go back to making awesome original games!!

Not to say I haven't enjoyed a lot of titles on that list... but it really doesn't compare to the old EAD. I'd rather have 10 of the former EADs games than fifty from this one.

I could've been NST I guess... Newcom doesn't exist anymore though I think.

But it's sorta new. :(

Yeah, that makes sense.

I thought Suzac did Falcon Densetsu/GP Legend only? They were behind Climax too?

I've been looking up the credits for Super Princess Peach and I think it's an EAD game, maybe from a newly formed team(?)

They show many Nintendo employees from previous Nintendo games and some new people I couldn't find any background on (from moby):

so tose did develop super princess peach.

Shiggy said:
I really wonder why it is nowhere told that this was made by TOSE.
yeah, i found it odd they weren't credited on the site, when they were on the stafi games:
peach:
http://www.nintendo.co.jp/ds/aspj/index.html
stafi:
http://www.nintendo.co.jp/n08/b3dj/index.html
http://www.nintendo.co.jp/n08/avfj/index.html
http://www.nintendo.co.jp/n08/astj/index.html

i also thought it didn't look or play like an ead game, which was also confusing.

i'm actually happy it is a tose game, i enjoyed the stafi series for what they were, entertaining, if easy, platformers.

ziran said:

probably because the stafi games are copyrighted to tose and mario universe isn't.

looking at those two staff credits lists, peach and stafi. the two teams are not at all the same, mostly executive type positions are the same, actual teams are almost completely different.

TOSE has like 200 development staff in Japan and China. They're actually really huge and have worked on tons of different games from Starfi to Dragon Quest Monsters to Virtua Quest to Shrek to Sega GT.

Yeah, all TOSE. I know. The thing was just with people comparing the teams earlier I just wanted to point out the actual teams that did the creative work on the games are not at all the same.

Well, they do have 5 "development centers" spread through Japan and China plus an online/network focused subsidiary (T-net). I misspoke earlier too, TOSE claims to have around 750 staff (though obviously they won't all be in game R&D).

They also claim a pretty substantial list of clients...
