Nintendo Hi-Jack PSP launch with some numbers

I know this is really off topic, but I can't make a new post (and if I could, I wouldn't have this question), and I don't see where I can contact a moderator, and I didn't see anything about it in the Terms of Service, so I got nowhere else to go.

Can anyone tell me why I get a message saying that I'm not allowed to post new topics? Do I need to have a certain number of replies before I can post new topics? If someone could answer this, I'll delete this reply as soon as I know. Thanks! And sorry for the off-topicness!

You can't start a thread if you're a junior member. 50 posts should bump you up a to a regular member.

So you think E3 will consist of Zelda, a few tidbits on the Revolution, and information about Wireless support of the DS, along with announcements like Star Wars Revenge of the Sith and Goldeneye DS? Even E3 2003 didn't suck that much.
or how about new games that we don't know about yet for systems that are out right now? maybe, perhaps? it's like your intentionaly trying to make his wording sound bad. fact is, no one knows whats gonna be at E3, from any company, let alone the fact that nintendo not having a new gameboy would mean thier entire E3 showing would be shit.

Oh crap! While Nintendo isn't specifically buuuurning Sony on their PSP production problems this still reeks of Sega buuuurning Sony on the PS2 production probs.

Sega = Lose
Nintendo = Lose?

So lets get this straight, when comparing numbers:

For Sony fanboys, Nintendo's GBA/GBASP sales do not count in marketshare and only the DS counts.

I think what people are saying is that since the PSP came out from now on nintendo doesn't have 100% of the market share anymore. Who cares if the have 100 million gameboys out there, now that the psp is out do you think they will sell another 100 million? I doubt it. Sony could be taking a HUGE chunk out of nintendo's profits. And i'm guesing Nintendo banks quite abit on their gameboy/ds profits

Just returning the favor. And I'm starting to get an idea.

Maybe no one in the freaking world has any idea what the PSP has sold so far. Seriously, I could more easily prove what Grand Theft Auto has sold in March than the PSP.

Dual-screened monstrosity outsells Dreamcast.

Why would Nintendo care about 6 million units when the GBA has sold something like 70 million?

1) Nintendo goes into E3 as the market leader, with every handheld product, in every region.
2) If Nintendo has any sense, E3 ends with the unveiling of a comparable handheld that carries the Gameboy brand.

It's pretty simple.

Reggie also said the Revolution will have a tiny presence at the show. Trust me, something's up.

So you think E3 will consist of Zelda, a few tidbits on the Revolution, and information about Wireless support of the DS, along with announcements like Star Wars Revenge of the Sith and Goldeneye DS? Even E3 2003 didn't suck that much.

Then as of the last week, and only last week, Nintendo is the market leader worldwide. (with the DS or GBA or both together)

I'm sorry. What did I say that could possibly bother you so? I really don't like Reggie's smug attitude.

Then people are stupid for ignoring N-Gage/Wonderswan/etc. The only (debatable) time they had 100% of the handheld market was when the first GB came out. Just because Sony is supposedly bigger and better then previous handheld "foes" doesn't mean Nintendo's had the market all to themselves.

Learn to read. That's monthly market share. The only idiot who said 35 million in a few months is you.

No where does it say that its monthly market share.

"Going from 99% of the market to less than half in a matter of months is a huge, huge difference, I would say."

When someone says market, that means the market as whole. He didn't specifically state:

"Going from 99% of the monthly market to less than half in a matter of months is a huge, huge difference, I would say."
