Nintendo Switch 2 bundle is surprisingly on sale for Cyber Monday

I love it and I put well over 100 hours into it, but we really need some DLC or something

It has so much potential…which has largely gone wasted so far
Gorgeous game, potential through the roof. But really let me down, my personal opinion. Played all the tracks once and dropped it. Hate the trick system on a core level.

I'm more irritated by how under utilized the gigantic gorgeous open world is

I already said my wish list would be them doing seasonal events throughout the map, like have a Halloween themed or Christmas themed event where the world is all themed out

Or jfc do something with the fucking map…ANYTHING

Mario Kart is such a letdown it should be free.

You can now buy everything in the online Nintendo store with eshop credit as of a month ago or so. Consoles, controllers, amiibo, physical games, etc etc. And Nintendo raised the limit of credit you can hold in your account to $800. YMMV outside of North America.

The warehouse clubs sell eshop credit every day at 10% off. Currently they are selling it at 20% off but today is last day of that.

Not a bad deal! Doesn't do much good now, but I expect Mario Kart World to have a similar trajectory to Halo Infinite or any shooter where it's kinda barren at launch but eventually ends up bursting with content. Doesn't excuse the poor launch or help anyone who bought it depending on getting immediate entertainment from it. Switch 2 is pretty damn sweet though. Finally got to see one in person over the holiday. Really fixed the size and build quality issues I had with the OG.

MKW has hundreds of missions to do in Free Roam. MK8 had none.

Better fix that.

Both Nintendo and Sony have sales for their consoles

Microsoft gave a price increase for cyber Monday lol 😂 Jesus man.
Best Buy has a $100 gift card with a full price Series X purchase... making it still $50 more than what it launched at in 2020...

And it's a gift card. So kinda lame. Better than nothing. But still just wow at MS for this

That series S needs to be $249 w/3 months gamepass to move units. It's a solid little console and can't cost much to make

Yeah, times have changed. I remember getting the original Xbox, an extra controller, Halo and Mechassault for dirt cheap at Price Club 20+ years ago.

They need TRACKS within the open world! I get keeping the open world open...but have some kind of galactic vortex that brings the tracks from MK8. That way there'd be variety.

Why am I thinking about this? My backlog is so insane....

I wanna specifically speak with the people who aren't completely satisfied with the Switch 2's lineup here; do you think it's worth it at 50 bucks off? I'm considering still waiting, but then Ninty discounts aren't exactly common.....but all I wanna play is Bananza and I don't care for the display quality of the device itself. It's a tough choice -_-

Personally I'm waiting until the goods come

New Mario and Zelda etc

Right now the only game I'd want is DK and it just looks "fine". Not enough to buy a console for

And MP4 is on switch 1

System is not overpriced. Its worth it just for the next 7 years of 1st party.

Currently Donkey is great but thats mostly it.

I'm honestly pretty lukewarm on the Switch 2, in fact I think I've played my OLED Switch more since buying the 2. But - the lineup of games has been a bit limp. I was expecting all Switch 1 games to benefit from the beefier hardware, but it's just not the case. The system's also physically bigger - the bigger screen is nice, but it takes away from the portability. Mario Kart World didn't impress me, and I found Donkey Kong to be so easy that I got bored to tears and gave up on it.

Where it shines, it really does shine though. Games with Switch 2 upgrades or specific patches look great in comparison with the Switch 1. Pokemon Z-A looks like hot garbage, but at least it runs at 60fps on Switch 2 and that made all the difference. Same with Trails in the Sky and my current jam - Hyrule Warriors Age of Imprisonment (probably my favorite Switch 2 game to date, and it's exclusive).

$50 off is nice, but also remember that this just brings the cost of the Mario Kart bundle down to the regular retail price of the non-bundle (console only) package, which has always been $449. You're essentially just getting a digital copy of Mario Kart for free. If you're not interested in Mario Kart at all, you could have had the system for this price since launch.

This display quality is overblown. I've been playing Echoes of Wisdom almost exclusively in handheld and it feels like I'm holding a Playmobil universe in my hands.

#DROPTHEPRICE worked, good to see. Seems like repeatedly voicing your concern about poor proposals and refuse to accept bullshit companies try to push can lead to some results, even far from ideal.

That said, considering the rising cost of memories, anyone that wants should get this now because there will be years before prices go anywhere close to that.
