Funny the E-Reader got released in Australia but not Europe. GBA releases by region are a weird thing.

It amazes me year after year how Nintendo is incapable of setting up a truly global structure. Instead, they have silos here and there and hugely overlapping yet incoherent operations.

Especially since Nintendo is a very small and focused company, building a global organization should be rather trivial.

Buiding processes of working, shared resources and global communication would make the company very different and allow the gamers to benefit. It should even increase their already fat financial result.

It would take only two or three McKinsey or BCG kids to kick Iwata-san in the nuts.

that's because Nintendo Australia generally follows the US in terms of Game Boy releases since there is no need to wait for Europe for a PAL version, unlike with home consoles, with which we are forced to wait for Europe.
