Hardly. They dont add supposedly higher spec screens at the expense of no optimal angle, contrast and brightness.

Buttons are excellent if the 6630 is anything to go by. If the dpad is anything like the 6630 it will be alot of fun to use.

I dont mind i got the 6630 instead of this due to tariff reasons. No denying 6680 is the phone to have however!

number keys are great

screen is great - high colour, good angles

and 3G rocks. Perfect for email

Of course you can always make one by yourself. I have a self-made model and audio quality is just great with good HIFI headphones.

And about the cost of 6680...I think it will be around the same what any high-end Nokia phone was when just launched. 6630, 6620 etc.

Unfortunately I have an N-Gage, so that thingy doesn't work for me.

I can probably make my own adapter (I think one might have even come with my N-Gage) but my friend who also bought a used N-Gage didn't get all the accessories so he's screwed...

yeah,with support for button presses (answer/end call), and microphone etc. Lets face it, there isn't an easy way to use headphones with mic etc. You'll always need an adaptor at minimum. One with the thingy on one end, and mic/button + 3.5mm socket on the other for your own headphones.

cockles, 3G is pretty good. Handy for quick downloading of your emails etc. But the 6681 should be quite a lot cheaper. And it'll have some funky goodness too

I have seen adapters out there. Does that solve the problem though? Is the sound output terrible still? I just wish I could listen to my mp3s and movies while being able to answer the phone.

what you need is a good mp3 player. The ones I've seen that you can buy for S60 are pretty crappy - all shiny bits and no substance. All it needs to do is let you browse and play, and pause your music while you take a call, but nobody seems to get that :/

Get OGG player. Its skinnable as well. You can also customize the control. Its alot like i-tunes corssed with winamp. You can browse and it categorizes everything. Its free too. Havent payed for anyhting on my phone yet.

It supports EDGE so its near broadband speeds on 2G. He may not even use data anyway.

I brought the 50MB free a month deal when it was available. Since i wanted to use the internet and email Otherwise iw ould have waited till the summer. Right now only business users get a decent monthly limit.
